if i had unrestricted access to a dense forest, i wouldn't say anything, but there would be signs.

the signs being me mysteriously disappearing and the only lead towards where i went are footsteps that abruptly end halfway into a patch of mushrooms.

Oh my god the crows brought their baby to show me today and seemingly are using me as a babysitter because they dropped the little thing off on the power line and are now off doing their own thing out of my line of sight (but nearby certainly) and didn’t even scold me when I put nuts on the fence and talked to the baby because, HELLO baby how could I not say hello for our very first meeting!!! Didn’t notice it was a baby until I was right next to his little pink mouth and blue eyes: I can’t believe it. My dream come true. I think they’re trying to teach the baby to come over here by itself because they notably ignored his cries for the food they had fetched.

The crows are back in the area and scoping out the yard again. 👀👍 I’m getting ready for the traditional pancake time with them soon.
