So heres my take on krusie / kriselle
I DONT THINK KRIS WOULD GET OUTWARDLY JEALOUS OF NOELLE WANTING SUSIE ok cool i said it now heres my reasoning:
I think kris' first instince upon learning this piece of information is to fuck with noelle. Its the thing they've always done, a habit they have since childhood, and teasing noelle on her crush would be astronomically funny. They can probably think of 5 ways to mess with her immediately and rank them from funniest to funniestest.
But then theyre reminded of the incident with dess and how devastated noelle was. All they ever do is fuck with noelle, and last time it hurt her bad, really really bad. Guilt overtakes their every waking thought, they drop their plans for silly pranks and comply with noelles request. This is their chance to do right by her, the least they can do after everything. Susie is a nice girl, she will be able to comfort and protect noelle where they have failed. And if they at least become friends, susie wont be all alone again once they inevitably have to betray her. She deserves to have someone who doesnt hide so many secrets.
They watch susie and noelle get closer and their heart hurts knowing they wont and cant be a part of it. So they get out of their hair, get some chocolate milk and play the piano for a peace of mind. Hangout somewhere else alone.
They may or may not have feelings for noelle, but the guilt weighs so heavy they cannot even bear to think of her, let alone entertain any affection they have for her.
They may or may not have a crush on susie, but it doesnt matter because she'd hate them. She got so pissed at tenna and ralsei, whatever their deal is, its probably worse than those two.
I dont think susie would hate them, btw. She'd tell them that theyre stupid for trying to fix it all alone, that theyre stupid for thinking they can just play matchmaker and take themself out of the equation. She doesnt like being kept in the dark but more importantly she'd think noelle doesnt *deserve* to be kept in the dark.
She'd think, am i not good enough a friend for you to rely on me? Please, let me in, let help you. Susie has never cared much about rules or other people's grand plans. She'll stand by her friends and she'll bend hell over with them if thats what it takes.
I also think noelle, when finding out about all of this, would never want kris to make themself hurt so much just to make her happy. Ever since kris distanced themself shes convinced herself that theyre nothing special, nothing more than neighbors, friends of convenience. But oh does she miss them, their music and their stupid un-funny pranks. Her desktop wallpaper, the pencils, even going as far as to prepare for visits that would never happen.
She thought she did something wrong when kris stopped talking to her, not knowing just how much guilt theyre carrying in their chest all this time.
