I’ve been encouraging my paramotor friends to name their engines and one has asked for assistance. He describes her as having “good character,” and “always comes back from the dead” (lol).

So I’m trying to think of ladies who are immortal and/or come back from the dead. So far I’ve got:

A friend of mine sent me this screen shot and a link to the Google doc. I've seen lots of posts about how to avoid pregnancy in light of roe v wade being overturned but nothing about this Google doc yet so I figured I'd make one. I know not everyone is in a position where surgery is an option, but for those who do want and can get their tubes tied, it's often difficult for them to get doctors to agree to it if they're young and unmarried or married without kids because they "might change their mind," which is misogynistic and condescending enough to deserve its own post but I digress. This is a crowd sourced list, the email to submit a doctor if you know one or are one is listed at top of the doc. Stay safe, friends.

Center for Great Apes calls for support after Hurricane Ian:

Thank you for all of your well wishes and positive pant hoots and long-calls!

We received a direct hit from Hurricane Ian. All of the apes and staff are safe, but the grounds will need significant clean up.

A few of the big oak trees, pines, and bamboo have come down along with some perimeter fences, but most of the damage is from flooding, limbs down, and debris.

The sanctuary does not have power, water, or phone service as of right now, but we have generators running a short time to give us water to clean.

While our apes are safe they are still stuck inside their nighthouses until the debris is cleared from their outdoor habitats.

We only have a skeleton staff crew since some of our staff can't get to us because of closed roads and flooding. However, the staff here have worked hard to clear paths and ape habitats.

Right - so I have a CONCEPT for a short (please brain make it short) story and the first quarter of an outline. HOWEVER, I’m feeling conflicted. I need help from you, my darling tumblrinas!

I can either go with Sci Fi Space Adventure type stuff or Alternate Reality Maritime… it will be queer because I’m writing it. What’s the consensus?

(Also I may just be avoiding my werewolf short story that needs yet another new draft, I’ve lost count of the drafts…)

This may never see the light of day because writing is hard.
