for raccoon king’s halloween prompt “group/matching costumes”; silas and daphne dressed as macbeth and lady macbeth (also sorry for shit photo quality lol)

based on the 1888 (i think) play with ellen terry and sir henry irving.

i couldn’t find an image of macbeth’s actual costume, so i had to go based off illustrations from https://www.princeton.edu/~graphicarts/2009/09/henry_irvings_macbeth_1888.html and hope it was right

lady macbeth’s dress seems to have actually been preserved, and i found images here https://www.nationaltrustcollections.org.uk/object/1118839.1 as well as a very detailed painting here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ellen_Terry_as_Lady_Macbeth# so that made it a lot more accurate
