Hi so there's this IF that I had saved but I can't find it anymore...
The plot goes like this:
You're a mage/soldier and you're killed in battle and your fellow soldier goes to save u but u still die, then wake up in ur bed on the first day of school. Your parents are secretly giving u drugs that stop u from manifesting ur magic powers, and u start to feel the effects of that bc ur classmate throws a magical tantrum in class and he's forced to hang up paper lanterns. And ur other classmate who also seems to be the soldier in ur past/future life seems to be weirdly drawn to you? I think he's reincarnated as well who knows spoilers. And if u have a crush on him u can hold his hand as he uses his water powers to shield u from the rain??? Eventually u get caught with powers and ur parents are arrested and u go to a festival and then leave the town forever
U live with ur uncle and his butler (uncle is related to the king/emperor/whatever) and he gives u an education, but he's like an absent 2nd father while the butler is like ur dad now kinda but not really and ur butler/3rd father is from a race of people that the kingdom ur currently in isn't happy with.
And then u go to like an academy and this sassy guy offers to be your tour guide and you can run into ur childhood rain friend and there is a fancy party and u can choose to dance with your rival.
