13. Pajamas (Haley x GN!Farmer)

"You know, that's not what I meant when I said Winter Star pajamas," you started, biting back a grin, "but I do like the way you think." Your gaze traveled down and then back up Haley's curves, catching only briefly on the skimpy, dark green velvet that barely passed as lingerie. You pulled yourself off the bed, feeling graceless and unsophisticated in your baggy flannel PJs. But before you could overthink too much, Haley grabbed your hand and pulled you close, her lips electrifying as they landed on yours. There was something about the way she moved around you that made you feel beautiful. As though she made you glorious by sheer proximity.

"I knew what you meant," she murmured, her face nuzzling into your neck, "but I thought you might like these more." You felt the smile dancing on her lips as they grazed your neck and you shivered, eager for the night to come.

My Sebastian drabbles have been the most popular, so the 29th is another for you Seb stans! Idk why I always write him as pining but it is what it is I guess lol.

29. Smoke (Sebastian x GN!Farmer)

A trickle of smoke arose from the tip of his still-smoldering cigarette, resting in the ashtray the farmer had given him as a Winter Star present. They’d made it, they had told him proudly at the Feast, as he’d unwrapped it, the ceramic frog staring cheerfully back at him amidst the festive tissue paper. He’d been speechless. No one had ever given him such a thoughtful, personalized gift for the town’s secret gift exchange. Sebastian thought amusedly back to the year Gus had presented him with a complete breakfast, not realizing Sebastian hated eggs.

The farmer was different, though. They were observant and thoughtful and generous. The longer Sebastian thought about it, the more positive attributes he could name. He sat in front of his bedroom window, cracked just enough to let the smoke out into the frigid night, lost in thought. The distant barking of one of the farmer’s herding dogs snapped him out of his trance. Stubbing out the cigarette, he stood and tugged his heavy, black coat on resolutely, dressing himself for the freezing trek down to the farm to tell the farmer how he felt.

Once again, apologies for the delay. I am, apparently, very bad at sticking to schedules when I don't get paid to. Who knew?

Anyway, getting caught up (finishing out the month) today and tomorrow.

27. Snowman (Jas, Shane x GN!Farmer)

“What kind of snowman should I make, (Y/N)?” Jas asked eagerly, practically vibrating with excitement in the snowy clearing in front of the ranch.

You hummed thoughtfully, drawing out the process for Jas’ benefit. “Maybe a space snowman?” you offered. “With antennae and goggles for the eyes!”

Jas’ own eyes widened as you spoke, nodding vehemently with your suggestion. “I’ll go get the goggles!” she exclaimed before bounding back through the front door to fetch materials. She bounced past Shane as he stepped outside, striding towards you with a grin.

“She seems excited,” he chuckled, wrapping you in his arms. You snuggled into the crook of his neck, pressing your cold nose against his skin as he shivered and squirmed in your grasp.

“Help us finish this snowman so we can convince her to come inside, and I can get warm?” you begged, shooting him your best puppy dog eyes.

He caved immediately, never able to resist your pleading for long. “Alright, alright,” he grumbled, “but you might have to bribe her with hot chocolate.”

“Deal!”

24. Ribbons (NSFW; Elliott x Fem!Farmer)

A shiver crawled up your spine as Elliott’s fingers ghosted over the curve of your breast. His eyes lingered over the red ribbons adorning your lingerie, purchased specifically with him in mind. His lips found purchase on your neck, just below your ear, and a growl rumbled up through his chest.

“My, what a pretty present you make for me, my dear,” he groaned, grinding his hips hard at your core as your breath hitched in anticipation.

16. Coffee (Harvey x GN!Farmer)

The crunching of icy snow under your boots disturbed the otherwise still morning. It was too cold and too early for anyone other than a lovestruck fool. As the ground shifted from compacted snow to the clear cobblestones of the town square, a shiver climbed up your spine. The cups of coffee in each hand were doing little to warm the chill everywhere else. Your lips and the tip of your nose were numb and some sappy part of you hoped he would whisk you inside and kiss away the cold. 

All too soon, you found you’d arrived at your destination. Dim lights were on inside, so you shifted one of the cups to the crook of your arm and knocked lightly. Only moments later, the door swung wide, Harvey standing sleepily just an arm’s length away. His eyes widened at the sight of you, his gaze traveling from your windburned cheeks to the coffees in your grasp. His moustache twitched as his lips pulled into a small smile. 

“Let’s get you out of the cold,” he proposed, his voice still rich with sleep. He pulled you into the warmth, closing the door firmly against the winter behind you.

18. Wine (Elliott x GN!Farmer)

The warmth of Elliott's laughter wrapped around you in the near-empty Saloon, a half-drunk bottle of wine on the table between you. The grass green of his eyes were unfocused, lost in the past as he regaled you with tales of his childhood, and you took the opportunity to study him, relishing in the way his hair waved gently over his shoulders. You sighed, ever captivated by his beauty.

That small sigh was enough to pull him from his reverie and his eyes focused deliberately on yours. You could see the edges of the smile he was holding back.

"Am I boring you, my dear?" he asked, and you felt your eyes widen in horror.

"No! Not at all!” you exclaim. “I – I was just…” the liquid courage bolstered you as you thought, fuck it. “I was just… admiring you.”

His brow furrowed momentarily and damn it if he wasn’t attractive even in his confusion. His gaze was suddenly sharp on yours, questioning.

Your heart rate had started to pick up, so you grabbed the bottle between you and you took a swig, determined to get this out.

“I don’t know if you know this,” you exhale, studying the wood grain of the table intently. “But you are very beautiful.” You paused and time crawled with his silence, although realistically, it had probably only been seconds before you spoke again. “And I think I might be in love with you.”

You couldn’t bring yourself to look at him, the alcohol making your tongue far freer than your eyes, apparently.

You could feel your insecurity rising, a darkness borne out of the pit of your stomach; its progress was stopped abruptly by the shock of Elliott’s hand pressed over yours.

You hazarded a glance up at him, to find him grinning, his lips just parting to speak.

“I could say the same about you.”

Shane doesn't really do it for me, but there's something about FamilyMan!Shane that I'm more okay with. Day 9!

9. Tree (Shane x Fem!Reader)

“Shane, honey, please be careful,” you begged as your husband single-handedly hauled the Winter Star tree into the living room. You rested a hand on your considerable baby bump, a little annoyed that he refused to let you help. He grunted as he shifted the tree further over his shoulder, the muscles in his arms straining deliciously against his hoodie. As he finally dropped the tree into place, he smiled triumphantly and pulled you into a gleeful kiss. Your fingers automatically threaded into his hair, only to get caught.

You giggled against his lips. “Um – you have sap in your hair.”

And on the sixth day... Harvey!

Harvey is my fave, hands down. I will literally start a save file with the intention of romancing someone else, and then still somehow wind up with the nerdy soft doc. Anyway, here's a soft slice-of-life snippet!

6. Socks (Harvey x Fem!Farmer)

Harvey sighed contentedly, closing the door quietly behind him. Winter was such a busy season for him; every day was a relief to come home to the calm of the farmhouse. He glanced over at the living room as he set his bag down, pausing to marvel at the beauty of his life: his lovely farmer curled up on the couch, sleeping peacefully as the amber firelight danced on her skin, her fuzzy red socks peeking out from under the blanket; and his son, brown hair tousled, wearing matching socks and thermal pajamas, curled up in his mother's embrace.
