Bugs, bugs, bugs: U49 edition 🐛

I started building something fun with the only Solstice antiquity I was able to unlock to buy, but unfortunately it looks like absolute ass because the textures are still bugged since U48 broke them months ago -_-

[Issue] Stone-Nest Antiquities: Textures

This is the Stone-Nest Pillar - Temple, Gazebo and Pendulum on Medium Texture settings:

I'm the only one still updating that ticket (and my last update was in January)... maybe because so few others have unlocked those things at all, given the trash droprates?

A small part of me hopes that at least a fix for the Map issue could be addressed in tomorrow's U50 Twitch stream:

The Windjammer Braids could have been so cool, if not for the damn bald spot on the front of Khajiit's head:

FWIW: Despite all my complaints and cursing 😹 I'm not actually super mad or anything. Sure it's annoying, and definitely does affect how much I play, whether I buy certain things, or sub. But let's be real, it's not that serious: "Sir this is a Wendy's game".

Hidden Kindred Crown Crates: Previews

Tbh I really dislike the crate system. But since Seals of Endeavor exist and we're allowed to trade gold for Crown gifting, it's honestly more reasonable than zone Treasure Maps.

The Hidden Kindred item pictures on UESP https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Hidden_Kindred_Crate didn't really interest me. Vaermina and plague theme are not my thing.

But gotta admit, in game, some of these are fun! And it's nice to see that lower tiers have some good new stuff too, not old Wood Elf furniture xD

Like the plague rat mount: it's... kind of cute?? 😂 Again, don't love plague theme. But the VFX are really nice.

I wish this glow that shows through walls could be turned off, especially on furniture. It's so damn bright on the wolf :(

I'm glad these are expensive enough that not everyone has them. I don't enjoy blinding and loud mount VFX, especially exploding directly in my face. Far away – whatever, have fun! (Bad enough dealing with some Sorc flappy's wing constantly in front of your camera no matter where you go.)

Hunger + Jester personality is pretty good:

Vaermina Dreamtrapper Pillar:

Pretty large! The effect area is doorway sized. Unfortunately you can't walk all the way in nor through, but still has potential. You can easily isolate the effect and hide the rest:

I like that this is a 40 gem item!

I wondered what happens to the green steam if you put it upside down. Can't hide it in the ground because the steam only goes one way so you won't see it. But it can become a disgusting shower if placed above!

Has potential.

...Sure are. And it's bugged on Khajiit. Texture error circled in red. EDIT: Devs said this is on the to-fix list! :)

Dark Queen's Sight:

I was interested in this one, I like the dots on the face. But dislike this extra lipstick it comes with :(

Also bugged :( halfway through the animation it starts floating in the air, and then doubles. EDIT: Devs said this is on the to-fix list! :)

Always thought these were cute xD I mean, might eat your brain at night but... cute. And only 16 gems! Yay!

Quagmire's Touch Body Marks

These body markings for 16 gems are actually nice too! If only they didn't wipe off Khajiit fur and make one's face look totally different :(
