Bugs, bugs, bugs: U49 edition 🐛

I started building something fun with the only Solstice antiquity I was able to unlock to buy, but unfortunately it looks like absolute ass because the textures are still bugged since U48 broke them months ago -_-

[Issue] Stone-Nest Antiquities: Textures

This is the Stone-Nest Pillar - Temple, Gazebo and Pendulum on Medium Texture settings:

I'm the only one still updating that ticket (and my last update was in January)... maybe because so few others have unlocked those things at all, given the trash droprates?

A small part of me hopes that at least a fix for the Map issue could be addressed in tomorrow's U50 Twitch stream:

Look at the character's forehead; it looks like it's "floating."

The Windjammer Braids could have been so cool, if not for the damn bald spot on the front of Khajiit's head:

FWIW: Despite all my complaints and cursing 😹 I'm not actually super mad or anything. Sure it's annoying, and definitely does affect how much I play, whether I buy certain things, or sub. But let's be real, it's not that serious: "Sir this is a Wendy's game".

One of the fun things about being extremely into Housing is noticing assets so much more. In the past, I wouldn't have paid so much attention to these broken tiles that khajiit is standing on...

But now I see this is actually the same chunk of tiles from here:

...just sunken into the ground.

What a useful furnishing it would be!

The Stone-Nest Gazebo lead is NOT in Treasure Maps! YAY!!!!! Thank you ZOS!

Neither are these other new Stone-Nest Antiquities leads:

Stone-Nest Pendulum – Lead: all sources in Solstice (enemies, harvesting, chests, etc.)

Stone-Nest Pillar, Temple – Lead: Wo-Xeeth World Boss, Eastern Solstice

(Image from PTS) Stone-Nest Counter-Weight lead is Map-exclusive. But 3/4 being painlessly attainable is awesome! (*Painless so far; I'm a little worried about Wo-Xeeth, not an easy WB to solo.) Update 02.2026: I completed the 3 purples quickle and am getting more :) these are good drops!

Instead of screwing around with Maps for months on end, I was already able to have fun building with these ~

Also: The Gazebo's sliding problem should have been fixed in incremental patch 1, But that patch has gone live without the fix. Idk the status.

UPDATE: The Gazebo is fixed! ^_^ YAY!

Xul-Haj – Solstice's oldest Xanmeer

❕ Minor visual spoilers ahead: Solstice main quest.

I loved the staging and lighting in here. I wish we had more tools to achieve such dramatic, cinematic lighting in Housing! And still hoping we'll get Stone-Nest structural furnishings in the next update.

Those autumnal-colored vines – both the draped and bush type.

These properly-blue candles that are not too bright.

Ones we have are all whitish, greenish, and/or way too bright; the closest you can get to this color is by hiding a Hlaalu Salt Lamp.
