                         “ Do you think you’ll miss it? ”

          Her question probably came out of nowhere, but Emma couldn’t help but feel a little... Weird?  ( In a good way ), that they’d gotten through the final battle and that now maybe... Maybe they’d all finally be able to just be, just live happily ever after together. It almost felt too good to be true, still.  

          “ The adventures? Saving people, fighting bad? From what I know about before the dark curse, there seemed to be a lot of that, and then after the curse, we’ve been through a lot. Now that everything has just... Settled, do you think you’ll miss it at all? ”

Ruby has a crush on Mary Margaret because she had a crush on her before the curse and even Regina’s magic wasn’t able to hide all of those feelings in the curse.

Mary Margaret tries to hide things from Emma by saying she’s having a girls night with Ruby, movies, junk food, and wine, but after the third girls night in one week Emma gets suspicious and starts to catch on.

After they start seeing each other Ruby gets a big, goofy grin on her face whenever Mary Margaret comes into the diner and she can’t stop herself.

Every so often Ruby will invite Mary Margaret over and set up her apartment with candles and a nice tablecloth and romantic music and cook her dinner. It’s not much, but for Ruby it’s better than just going out to the same restaurant every date night. 

They wait to have sex. Despite both having jumped quickly into bed with Whale, they want their time together to be special. They want to take their time with each other and make it something they’ll both remember.

      "snow!” it’s without further preamble that red launches herself into the bandit’s arms, the motion practically knocking them both to the ground. for a moment she’s frozen in time, nose buried in dark hair and senses enveloped by a familiar, heady mix of pine and vanilla -- but the moment red pulls back, the floodgates draw wide open. 

       “you’re back! what was it like out there? and... mother, she didn’t intimidate you too much, did she?” barely a breath is inhaled before she continues, fingers sliding down to link through snow’s own. “did you see any more humans? and the queen’s men -- none of them found you, right?” all these questions at once must be overwhelming, but red can’t help herself. she’s brimming with curiosity for a world she’s still barely seen, no matter how much everyone around her may wish to keep it that way.
