Your sister had always been protective over you, every time someone took a slight interest in you she would scare them off. So that’s how you found yourself with zero friends and a love life as dead as the underworld itself.

When she first introduced you to her boyfriend you were skeptical, you found it unfair she could have a love life. Although over time you grew to enjoy the company of hades. When you both started school you were the only person she hung out with however over time he distanced herself and now you were alone.

You would spend your days in secluded areas, never taking to anyone. So when one day she approached you and asked you to come meet her friends you were surprised. She brought you over to the table they normally sat at. Of course you knew hades but there were three others you didn’t know.

Uliana the sister of Ursula seemed intense you had heard about the whole flamingo feathers incident and had avoided her ever since. Morgie Le Fay you had seen him with hades and Maleficent a couple of times but never got to know him, he seemed nice or as nice as a villain can be.

And then there was Hook, your sister had told you about his generally flirtatious nature and warned you not to get too close as he had a history of breaking people’s hearts.

The moment Hook saw you he was in love, although he would never have admitted that at the time he wanted to have you. When you sat across him his heart rate fluttered, he glided his hook up and down your thigh.

At that time he was in a relationship with some random royal but after you left he broke up with them immediately. The next day he found you sitting by the fountain “Hey” You look up at hook noticing the glisten of light reflecting off his hook “Oh hi hook” He swung his arm onto your shoulder “Please call me James” You nodded “What are you doing by the fountain, I though the sibling of maleficent would be doing something sinister” You leaned your head back “I’m not really the evil type” He stole the seat next to you

“Really, that’s cool” He slid the curved part of his hook under your chin “I guess? I’m just more focused on studies” He leaned against you “I should’ve known, so you got a boyfriend” You move back a bit slightly taken aback by his question “No, I wish though Mali keeps scaring them off” He chuckles

He says in a whisper quiet enough that you won’t here “Perfect” He then rubs the curved part on you thigh “I know castle-coming is happening soon, so you have a date” This time you leaned against him “No, everyone’s to scared to”

He pulls you closer “Would you want to be my date” You rest your head on his shoulder “Sure, what’s the worst that could happen” Turns out that sentence has a lot of power.

When maleficent found out she was fuming. She guarded you from hook for two days then when he couldn’t take not seeing you he burst into your dorm. Maleficent wasn’t there so the coast was clear for now.

“James, what are you doing here if Mali founds out she will kill both of us” He grabs your hands “I’m sorry but I couldn’t bear another second without seeing you, I love you” You look into his eyes “You love me?” He kisses you on the cheek “I do, I really love you from the moment I saw you” You pull him into a kiss holding him close when Maleficent barges in “What the hell”

The first time hook saw you his heartbeat went crazy. He would often watch you from around the corner or through his spyglass. One day while he was watching you at your locker Morgie approached him.

“Spying again I see” Hook jumped when he heard his friends voice “What no, I’m just picking Uli’s next target” Morgie lightly punched hook in the arm “Yeah sure, look I’ve seen you spying a lot” Hooks cheeks turned pink

“Look I’m not judging, but if your this obsessed I would ask Bridget” Hook audibly groaned “Why Bridget, she’s so annoying” Morgie laughed at hooks annoyance “She makes love cupcakes, give one to y/n and boom you two are in love”

The next day hook reluctantly knocked on Bridget’s door. When she opened the door she was surprised to see hook “Look Bridget I wouldn’t normally come here but, I need a favour” Ella appeared behind Bridget “Why should she give you a favour, for all we know your going to use it against her” Hook bring his hand to his hip “I won’t I promise, I just need one of those cupcakes..”

Bridget smiled and welcomed him into her dorm “Which one, I have lots” Hook tilted from side to side in embarrassment “I need uh the love one..” Hook stood silent as Bridget gave him one cupcake “Just give this to the lucky person and make sure that you are the first person they see” Hook nodded and left Bridget’s room.

After the last class he found you sitting by a tree reading a book. He approached you holding the cupcake “y/n, did you want this Bridget gave it to me but I don’t want it” You looked up from your book “Yeah sure” He watches in anticipation as you take the cupcake and bite it.

He looks into your eyes as the form hearts “Hook I-“ His smile quickly fades when you fall asleep right then. He grabs your shoulder and shakes you trying to wake you up. In a slight panic he picks you up and carries you back to his and Morgie’s shared dorm.

He places you down onto his bed and runs to ask Morgie for help “Morgie there you are, you’re stupid plan didn’t work” Morgie turned to face hook a bit confused “What do you mean” Hook grabbed his hand and dragged him over to you “See, I asked Bridget for the stupid cupcake and now they are asleep” Morgie chuckled “Have you tried waking y/n up” Hook looked at Morgie with an angry look “Y/n won’t wake up, I’ve been trying for a while” Morgie’s smirk dropped.

Hook and Morgie both walked over to Bridget’s dorm “Oh hey boys, everything alright” Hook pushed past her and entered her dorm “Your cupcake didn’t work” Bridget looked at hook in confusion “What do you mean” Hook groaned “I mean the person who I gave it too fell asleep” Bridget giggled but stopped when she saw hook glaring her down “To wake the person, they need a true loves kiss” Hook rolled his eyes

“Can you stop messing with me and actually tell me how to wake them up” Bridget smirked and crossed her arms “That is the reason, have you never heard of it” Hook shook his head and shoved Morgie out of Bridget’s room and back to their room.

When they finally arrived hook approached your sleeping body and leaned down. Took a deep breath and kissed you on the lips. He moved back and watched as your eyes returned to normal and as you woke up. You looked over to hook and stood up “Thanks for the cupcake” He stopped you before you left

Your love language had always been physical touch. Before you met hook you and dreamed of having a boyfriend you could lovingly poke at.

So when hook stumbled into your life you were more than grateful. He was a private person he wanted to keep your relationship private until you were friends with the VK’s in fear that they might do something to you.

So you had to control yourself from sticking to him like glue when you were in public. However one night you got a bit carried away and ended up give hook a couple of hickeys.

You thought seeing as he was a private person he would cover them up but you were wrong. The next day you saw him walk out of his dorm hickeys as clear as day. You thought maybe he wanted to go public or show off but you were wrong.

You regretted the day you told your son about your past lover. Now he wouldn’t stop pestering you with questions. When you hit your absolute limit with him you told him everything to try and get him off your back.

However just hearing that he tried even harder to get you back together. You had stopped him from sending countless letters to hook. The next day when you went to greet your son he wasn’t in his room. You looked everywhere in your palace and still couldn’t find him.

You issued a search warrant but it turns out he was long gone. In the middle of the night he snuck out and ventured back to Auradon where he stole the pocket watch and traveled back in time.

When he found you he was relived, the pocket watch had taken him back right before he screwed everything up. You were sitting in hooks lap playing with the grass as he was talking to his friends. Now all he had to do was not to screw it up.

No one at school knew you could shape shift. You didn’t even know until your mother told you a couple weeks ago. While you had transformed into different things your favourite was a crow. There was just something so fascinating about the bird.

You also liked the fact the you could spy on people. One day on your spying trips you noticed a boy sitting down by a tree. You perch onto a branch above him. You peer down to see him reading. Although the book he was reading looked like it belonged in a kindergarten you didn’t really care.

He noticed you when he heard rustling in the leaves “Oh hey crow” he reached out his arm for you to perch on. You decided to do it better than just watching. When you landed he seemed amused and he started to glide his finger around your head “You’re a cute crow you know that, I wish I could keep you but you belong in the wild” when he said that a wicked idea popped in your head.

When exam weeks started to inch closer you put a halt on your crow shenanigans instead using your free time to study. Every time you passed him in the hallway he would look more and more sad.

After a torturous week you decide to crash in hades room. He was the only person you could really talk to as you had no friends. He would listen to you and make suggestions but most of them involved fire. Exhausted you fall asleep on what you thought was the spare bed.

Sometime in the middle of the night you’re awoken by a cold piece of metal gliding across your skin. “What are you doing out here so early?” He places his hand onto your leg “It’s the only time I am truly alone and truly free of people begging me for love” He chuckles “I thought being the son of a goddess was ment to be fun” You look at him taking in every detail “Not when people beg you and not your mother” He watches as you swirl your finger around in the water

“Really who did you leave” He sighs “My ship the Jolly Roger” You hold in a laugh and instead place your hand on his leg “So tell me about your father” He can hear you groan “My father is Ares god of war, he’s always attacking me for taking after my mother” Hook turns to face you “That must suck”

He watches as you trace hearts in the ground “Any particular reason you chose this pond” This time you rested your head on his shoulder “It’s where I contact my mother” He watches as you stand up and dive head first into the pond. After twenty seconds he started to get worried and by this time he noticed hades and Maleficent

“Hades, please help me” He looks at hook confused “It’s y/n he just dived into that pond” Hades follows hook finger to the pond “Hook you need to calm down” Hook punches hades softly on the arm “Don’t tell me to calm down” Hades pushes hook into the pond and he is suddenly on the other side of it “Hook, you made it” He turn and see you “y/n! uh where are we” You giggle at his ignorance

“Mount Olympus, take my hand I’ll take you to meet my mother” He doesn’t get a second to think before you grab into his hand and drag him to where your mother is “Oh y/n you’re here and you’ve bought a mortal” Hook whole body shakes scared to be in the presence of a goddess

“Mother this is hook, he is friends with hades” She looks him up and down “I presume your here for a reason hook was it” He nods still shaking “I just came to check on y/n he disappeared for a while” She smiles comforted by the fact that at least one person cares about her child “Well you two should get going, Ares is about to wake up”

While hook would’ve had rather stayed to meet Ares you run away. He turn to face the goddess “Aphrodite” She smiles at the mortal “Yes” he crosses his legs in nervousness “Can I ask for one thing” She leans down so she is eye level with him “And what is that” He takes a deep breathe “Can you please make y/n like me back” She smiles “Here take this” Hook look down at the belt in her hand “It’s my magical girdle, you seem like a sweet boy”

He takes it graciously “Thank you” He says while he walks back to the place in which he came from “Hook you’re back” He smiled when you grabbed his hands “I think, I think I’m in love with you” His smile grows wider “I am too” and with that the two of you kiss. I guess that belt worked out after all
