He's... honestly incredibly chill.
Yeah so Jack doesn't really kill unless necessary? He'd rather stay in the infirmary organizing the supplies and tending to everyone's wounds.
One of the reasons why Slenderman even picked him up is because it was a med student. Also because it had gone feral in the woods near the campus.
Now because he doesn't always go on murder sprees doesn't mean he's not a killer. If Slenderman tells him to take out someone who found the mansion it'll head out first thing, find their home, sneak in, and put his tuition to good use.
He doesn't like a mess and he hates to waste so EJ likes to harvest his victims.
If he can, he'll even take the whole person. The mansion has a basement they use for interragations or just torture.
EJ is blind since it's eyes were ice cream scooped but he got a boost in his other senses at least! Also he can see people's life essence now.
Basically he can see blood in a weird and abstract way. Even with being turned into whatever he was now it still can't figure out what all it's looking at so when it comes to hunting it'll just rely on other senses.
He also got really good at reading heartbeats and using them to tell who's who before they speak.
So as a...... whatever you wanna call what he is, of course he can regenerate himself over time OR he can just replace the part if needed. Unfortunately the tar constantly flowing through and out of his body isn't good for normal human flesh and the body part will eventually rot off. It's a temporary solution he doesn't really like to use unless absolutely necessary.
He can very temporarily restore sight with eyes but because of the heavy flow from his sockets they can't even last for an hour and his vision quickly degrades.
Okay, let's talk about his fit. Why is it always wearing sweaters of some kind? Dude just likes sweaters. Can't a guy be cozy? Also he's cold blooded.
EJ doesn't hate everyone like Jeff does but he does prefer to be alone unless he's able to treat somebody's wounds or talk about all his medical knowledge. Other than that, most forget he can even talk.
His most common patient is Jeff, even though they don't get along. Ever since he first came to the mansion and met EJ looming over him when he first woke up Jeff hated the guy. EJ, on the other hand, doesn't hate Jeff.
It finds the fact that he was described with major burns over half of his head and neck, an empty eye socket with visible damage, and shattered teeth with the torn up mouth and 0 medical care to any of it for who knows how long absolutely fascinating. He has a deep need to study him and find out how exactly he's survived for so long.
The two tend to get into fights often, all started by Jeff, and EJ accepts just to humble him and as a chance to study him. It uses the fights as a chance to get a feel of his injuries, scars, and even his teeth if he can get close enough without having it's fingers bit off.
