❛      Oh.❜ she wasn’t expecting her words; surprise & confusion are first emotions evident. howbeit they dissipate to reveal a feeling more raw     more intense. s a d n e s s. genuine, heart-wrenching, and ever so obvious. & she tries to keep the facade of apathy, albeit ultimately fails. it was strange     an emotion as such was so foreign to her. she’d expect something akin to anger, however this sorrow was all encompassing. anything else had disappeared.
