If I was a dev on Dwarf Fortress
Gorlacks would be a playable civ and Crundles and all the stuff in the Mirthful Biomes that makes sense.

Urist McHuman cancels scroll Tumblr: Interupted by Crundle
(Apropos of nothing I have become convinced not only that crundles have lumpy skin like toads, but that this is such a key part of them that the dwarf term for wart is crundle bump)
Crundle: a tiny underground monster with large claws and horns. It walks on 2 legs and is dangerous when encountered in large numbers. His scales are crimson, his eyes are black.
This critter that looks like the spawn of a lesser demon and a potato is from the latest dwarf fortress series (Glacier’s eye) to come from kruggsmash. From the first time his render popped up I thought these stupid guys were hilarious and adorable. I’ve been feeling in the createy mood lately so I busted this silly sculpt out.
Some Subterranean Fuana
Character Introduction: Sharon Crundle
Sharon Crundle
Sharon Crundle considers herself something akin to a star reporter, though the journal she reports for, the Teras Times, is a self-published paper she prints and distributes herself. Still, it's the closest thing Teras Terrace has to its own newspaper, and she manages to recruit some neighborhood kids (and the occasional bored adult) into helping her out with the paper in various capacities.
WHERE THE FUCK ARE ALL THESE CRUNDLES COMING FROM?
