does your character have an accent? what does it sound like?
sulpicia had a very stereotypical accent of someone from the lower class of england. upon meeting aro, she began watching what she said, thinking about her dialect and how to properly pronounce things, and he helped her, of course. now, her dialect is clean and crisp, but it is still heavily british, though it has begun to wear down over time, as speaking italian is something she does far more these days.
i’m bad at describing accents- it’s european ok
your character has been granted three wishes- what would they wish for & why?
honestly, sulpicia just wants her HUSBAND. that’s her greatest wish. for the life she had before she was thrown up in that tower. she wishes her sister had never died, because if she hadn’t died, maybe sulpicia would have never been locked up in the first place. but if all else fails- she just wishes aro would change. that he would see her suffering and actually try to fix his mistakes rather than sweeping them under the rug and brushing it off like it’s nothing. sulpicia is hurting. and she just wants comfort from the one person who should ALWAYS be there to lend her comfort.
does your character trust people right off the bat or does it take them some time to warm up to someone?
it’s hard to say sometimes. because sulpicia is genuinely kind and open to everyone, but she is always weary of new people. but she isn’t closed off and bitter towards people when she meets them. she always welcomes people with a warm smile and comforting words. she is just friendly. but that does not mean she trusts. she’s had her heart broken by her own family, and sulpicia turly believes if she cannot trust them, she cannot trust anyone.
are they afraid of death? do they have any regrets?
sulpicia is NO WHERE NEAR afraid of death. in fact, at this point in her life, she welcomes it. she hopes it englufs her and takes her somewhere where she can be FREE. she loves her husband and she loves her family, but sulpicia simply cannot handle the stress that is placed on her shoulders. to her, it feels as if she is holding the entire weight of the world on her tiny petite frame and it has officially crushed her. the proud, confident woman she once was does not exist, but rather she has become small and weak, vulnerable even. if she regrets anything, it was the decision to join the coven. as much as she loves aro, had she have known what her fate was with being with the volturi, she would have never joined in the first place. she would have simply preferred to die an early death in her mortal life rahter than living everyday like she was dead already- not physically, of course. but emotionally and mentally she just feels so lifeless. she’d prefer death over her life anyday.
