A cute little 100 word offering for you 😊😊

Gigi watched the crow hop along the fence from the cover of her umbrella. Crystal, not caring about the rain soaking her, stood by the crow, chatting animatedly. 

Finally she held out her hand towards it, grinning.

Gigi frowned. “What's it giving you this time?”

Crystal bounced back towards Gigi, beaming, opening her fist. “Mr Crow got you a needle!”

The needle, sparkling with raindrops, made Gigi give a start.

“Is this the needle I lost near the hydrangea plant last week?”

“Oh.” Crystal's smile faded. “Maybe?” 

The crow chirped, cocking his head.

Gigi giggled. “He found it for me!”

Hi Gi!! As my WIPS are all quite sparse right now and not very coherent I thought I would instead write you a six sentence drabble with these words instead 😊😊 hope you don't mind that I cheated a little!!

Gigi shook her head, clearing it of all doubts, and closed her eyes as Crystal closed the distance, the first hint of the kiss ghostly on her lips, then deepening until Gigi sighed, her chest tingling and her desire igniting, yearning for Crystal's fangs to pierce her neck once again. Crystal's dark curls tumbled around Gigi’s shoulders, and Gigi breathed in the clean, peach scent of her hair, enveloping all her senses and drawing her irresistibly into Crystal's aura.

“Listen to me,” Crystal murmured after an eternity, slowly drawing away from the magnetic force holding them entwined. “I can't just come into a breather's home without permission, especially yours - a house full of hunters, it's unheard of!” 

“I know, I know we shouldn't be doing this,” Gigi whispered, as Crystal's fingers threaded into her hair, twirling a tendril idly around her finger, “but I …”

Gigi averted her eyes downwards, focusing on the navy blue patterns stitched into Crystal's black waistcoat and overcoat, illuminated by the streetlights overhead; before lifting her eyes back to Crystal's, dark brown and Gigi noticed, flickering with quiet hope.

“But I can come with you Crys, can't I?”

46. “Hey, have you seen the..? Oh.”

And yes maybe I’m still in my baking writing phase, I hope you enjoy!

“How many times have you made this cake?”

Gigi shrugged, setting the mixing bowl down. “Just once. But I can do it again, it came out perfect last time and it will again today. I saw it on that baking show.”

Crystal, still sitting on the workbench in the kitchen, pushed open the refrigerator with her foot and rooted around for something to snack on, finding a can of whipped cream. “If you’ve done it before, why do you need my help?”

“Oh no, Crys, you’re not getting out of this - you’re helping me with Jan’s birthday cake and that’s it.”

Crystal huffed, her feet thumping against the cupboards under the workbench, as Gigi looked down at the recipe she’d scrawled on a piece of paper, which was stained with smears of chocolate and dried batter from previous baking escapades.

“Right. Sugar and butter, then eggs, flour …”

As Gigi scrambled around the kitchen for the ingredients, Crystal squirted from the can of whipped cream directly into her mouth, to a wince and a sigh from Gigi at the sound.

“Are you going to do anything useful?” She put her hands on her hips.

Crystal swallowed the mouthful of cream. “I am doing something useful. I’m helping you empty your fridge.”

“And you call that useful?” Gigi opened the fridge and looked inside, confused. “Hey, have you seen the - oh.”

“Looking for these?” Crystal sang, holding the carton of eggs and waving them in front of Gigi’s face.

“Hey - hey give me those!”

Gigi made a snatch for the eggs, but Crystal whipped them behind her back. “Nice try, Geeg, but you’ve gotta be quicker than that!”

“Crystal -“ Gigi reached behind her, but Crystal just giggled as she switched hands.

“Oop, too slow!”

“Crys, I swear to God -“

Gigi wrapped both arms around Crystal as she shrieked in delight, managing to get hold of the eggs and tug them from Crystal’s grasp, moving them out of her way to the side of the workbench.

“This isn’t helping with Jan’s cake!” Gigi tried to make her tone serious, but Crystal’s eyes gleamed with fun, and it was nearly impossible to stay stern at her. Especially as Gigi noticed that Crystal had hooked her feet around Gigi’s legs, trapping Gigi against her, and Crystal wound her arms around Gigi’s shoulders.

It looked as though Gigi wouldn’t be focusing on baking a cake for a minute or two. She tilted her head back a little to look up at Crystal, taking in her delighted sparkling smile, how her eyes crinkled up at the corners as she beamed at Gigi.

“Let me go, Crys,” Gigi pouted up at her girlfriend.

“Not until you promise we can do something more fun after this!”

“Well,” Gigi mused, pretending to consider it, “once it’s baking, we’ll have about fifteen minutes until it needs to come out and cool down, and I’m sure we can think of something … fun to do while we wait.”

“Now you’re speaking my language,” Crystal giggled, planting a light peck on Gigi’s lips. "Deal."

"But you have to do something to help the baking!"

Crystal tilted her head. "I could find the eggs? Oh wait, here they are!" She pointed at them where they had been left, while Gigi just laughed and shook her head.

"Nice try. Here," Gigi handed Crystal the flour and scales, "you're on measuring duties. The boring bit. Have fun!"

I promise I hadn’t forgotten! This one just took a bit longer as my inspiration was unfortunately low for anything that wasn’t taywhora oops. But here I am!

For reference, we spoke and I know you wanted Crygi, and we changed the prompts to 10 and 27 from fluff, which were

So I hope you enjoy this little drabble!

Crystal knew it had been a bad day for Gigi from the moment she heard the door slam on the apartment they shared. After living together for well over a year, there were some things that they just knew, and that door slam was a bad one.

As Crystal worked as a hair and makeup artist, mostly for weddings, she spent her days at home in their spare room which had been transformed into a studio where she could work. She waited for Gigi to come to her in the studio, and the frantic expression on her face, combined with the heavy sigh, told a story.

“Bad day?”

“The worst.” Gigi huffed again, stomping into the living room, removing her blazer as she did so, and throwing herself onto the couch.

Crystal came to sit with her, to rub her shoulders tenderly. “Do you want to talk about it?”

“Not really. God,” Gigi leaned right back onto the couch, shutting her eyes. “I just don’t feel like I’ve properly relaxed yet. Someone was singing something on the bus home, a load of kids were shouting outside the block -“

“Don’t think about that now,” Crystal gently pulled Gigi towards her. “Come on, stop moving and let me braid your hair.”

Gigi hummed in appreciation as Crystal ran her fingers across her scalp, and Crystal watched in fascination as the skin on her shoulders and arms turned to a sea of goosebumps at her touch.

“How were your makeup trials?” Gigi mumbled, her voice starting to become dreamy as Crystal continued to braid.

“They were both good. Turns out they’re both getting married to each other! One of them looked so much like Taylor Swift, and she wanted to go all-out with her makeup look, and have her hair in braids. Like this,” Crystal said, tugging gently on the braid she was weaving.

“Bit strange for a wedding.”

“Not really. I think that’s what I’d want too. Well, for a handfasting. I’ve always wanted to do that. That would be special for me. Just braid my hair and keep it out the way, off my face and my neck.”

Gigi’s eyes were closed, and Crystal caught the flush creeping up to her cheeks.

“Are you blushing?” She teased.

Gigi shook her head, pulling her hair free of Crystal.

“Geeg! Stop!”

“Sorry,” Gigi murmured, “It’s nothing.”

But Crystal had thought she’d seen a ring that looked like it could be for an engagement in Gigi’s blazer pocket. She said nothing for now, wondering if the talking they’d both done about a wedding was about to come true.
