Just saw the news that Daniel Ricciardo has been replaced for the rest of the season. Deviated for him and for the fans, even if I do think Liam Lawson deserves a chance.

All of the news that's come out basically confirms that was his last race but I can't help but think, want, him to be given a chance in Austin. He lives Austin, Austin loves him, so what if they put him in Checo's Red Bull seat for one race to see if he can score better. Let him have the real farewell race he deserves or give him a chance for next season.

That's not saying I want Checo gone because I have a soft heart and I know Checo would be devastated to lose his seat too. It's hard when you know F1 is every single one of those drivers dreams.

But I want to see Daniel in Red Bull with Max one more time.

😭🥺❤️ that was one of the best interviews i’ve read in a while, i love how it was written and that it seemed like austin was also able to direct the course of the conversation/how much he wanted to get into certain topics, the bar is in hell but the way media works the headline could’ve easily been ”BUTLER OPENS UP ABOUT NEEDING THERAPY AFTER FILMING SESSIONS” or something similar but instead it was done so nicely, same with briefly discussing his relationship etc, it was really insightful and thought provoking!!

and when it comes to those particular tags… (i’ll screenshot below if someone’s interested) it’s been interesting because mota was first i got interested in austin’s work and i first watched those interviews with callum and only afterwards realized what a special experience mota must’ve been because as funny and charismatic as aus is with other casts on other projects there’s just something so comfortable with the way they are with callum, from the way he jokes to his body language! and now in the context of having read this article it seems even more special, genuinly hope they’d get to work again somewhere 🥺
