There's a second at the wedding during which Pietro debates exactly 346 times over not handing out the Christmas presents stacked neatly in the recycled Smiley's bag in his hand. Like everything else in his life to at least some degree, it's frustrating, knowing that he could potentially be gifting treasures from anywhere in world, but instead he's stuck giving out homemade scarves -- a frustration that was multiplied exponentially when he and Wanda arrived back from Transia late last night to discover all the exciting and costly presents from his friends. The alien invasion had left them with literally nothing but the clothes on their backs, and they're grateful -- of course they're grateful -- but Pietro has pride. It's hard, and even yarn costs money he doesn't really have.
He can't even blame this one on Tony, since the "no stealing for Christmas" rule was established by their mom and apparently holds true in every timeline. Pietro fidgets where he stands, fingers tapping against the side of the bag so fast it sounds like a flock of angry humming birds. The Salvation Army is a shitty excuse for a charity organization, but the recent epidemic of empty red buckets all over Brooklyn is still probably skirting the line.
In the end, he hands them out anyway -- if not for the gust of wind accompanying each delivery, it'd seem like the generic snowflake-themed paper wrapped boxes appear in everyone's hands out of nowhere.
Natasha's scarf was made with a vaguely spider web-ish theme in mind (she'll find another one back at the apartment later too -- Pietro didn't forget her original request for the most obnoxiously long scarf ever and he figures 27.5 feet ought to do it).
Wanda pointed out that Steve is probably a little bit tired of red, white and blue everything, so his ended up being a regular old scarf that he can hopefully just wear with whatever.
For Loki, something a little more elegant to match the Swarovski bead earrings Wanda found on an Etsy shop (Pietro still has no idea where she got the money to pay for those, and Wanda isn't telling).
Gwen already got a thing from Pietro, but he had extra yarn and he always has extra time, plus it'd be a little awkward to not give her something when he invited her to the wedding and everything (and maybe he had to learn an entirely new pattern for this, but you know, whatever, no big deal).
Clint gets the scarf to match the ridiculous hat from before. A pair of mittens with fold-back tops are in there somewhere too, just to complete the set.
Tony's is a solid black knit inspired by something Pietro saw on Zazzle, upgraded courtesy of hand-bedazzled rhinestones blinging out the dollar signs.
(Speaking of Zazzle, Clint and Tony also receive a wedding gift: a set of hand towels lovingly embroidered with important phrases.)
