I think one of the greatest crimes ever committed by the ygo anime was making Yami appear notably older/more mature than Yugi. Atem was, allegedly, 16 when he died. If anything, it should be Yami stuck at 16, Yami stuck in this strange space with neither body nor identity to allow him to meaningfully age while Yugi gets to grow and mature
