Okay writing friends, question for you all. You have an idea for a fic, enough to write about 4-500 words pretty quickly, but you know that it probably has the potential to be a much longer piece if you just let it sit for a while. Do you -
Write and post the shorter version
Leave it and wait it can be longer
Secret third option (comment!)
ok but do you pinkie promise reality shifting is real
I pinkie promise! If you do enough research, I'm sure you'll see that l for yourself >:]
Hi! I really liked both of your stories you have up so far. I was wondering if you have any other OCs? Or if you could maybe tell us more about your werewolf one! Thank you!
I do have quite a few OCs that I’m planning on writing for, because i do have a lot of ideas for them! Alpha is definitely my favorite, though! He’s a filthy wolf boy and that’s my jam. He’s also 6′6″ so ya know, big boy.
Also my premise for him during He who catches is basically like he’s a really delusional sort of guy, and also doesn’t really care if he’s hurting you, if you know what i mean. He’s over enthusiastic, too, like a puppy. He doesn’t have an actual name, so in the series i’m planning for him, reader just calls him ‘Alpha’ because that’s what he refers to himself as. He’s more wolf than man, in terms of his mannerisms, although he does walk upright. I’ll probably post some art of him at some point, because he’ll be on this blog a lot!
Thanks for the ask, and for your curiostiy about my OCs! I could talk about them for forever, really. :)
Hello! I am trying to shift realities and I got a question. If i learn something in DR, will I still have those skills in my Cr? Say, I learned french language in my DR and am quite fluent there, will I remember it and be fluent at it in my CR? I am quite excited to know if I'll remember them because that way I could learn so many things.
I think I've answered this question before but tldr yeah, probably!
You practice something, it doesn't really matter which reality you practice it in. It's a different thing if you scripted that you are already fluent in the language/skill [which is very confusing and something I'll need to test], but if you learn it there, I think you can know it here.
I'm excited for you!
Hi! Ive been interested in the idea of shifting for a few months now but haven’t gotten around to actively trying, and I was wondering if you could explain what it feels like when you are actually in the process of shifting? Like what sensations should I expect to feel/actively pursue when attempting? About once a month I get a facial to help with a skin condition, It’s a spa style facial so it’s soothing and relaxing with meditative music and I’ve noticed the last two times I’ve gone since I got interested in shifting I’ve felt a little weird at certain times during the appointments. It’s near the end when I’m most relaxed and it kind of feels like I’m rocking back and forth, the best way I can think to describe it is that it feels like I’m trying to rock out of my own body but I’m not actually moving. Im not sure if this is a shifting thing or not but the timing just seems pretty coincidental.
Hello, Anon! Glad you’ve been considering it!
As for your question: Yes! I’ve actually had that happen to me. Whenever I’m relaxed and watching a movie, I can feel myself going “out of body” and in a relaxed state. The timing is not coincidental, this happens when you’ve tried to shift for a bit. Or get interested, I suppose!
And for the other question: The symptoms vary from person to person, but I’ve heard:
Tingling. This is one of the most common symptoms, most likely happens to everyone. It can get uncomfortable, but you gotta push through it.
A floating feeling. Also described as falling through wherever you are; also mostly common, although not everyone experiences it.
A feeling of numbness. This comes with the tingling and a sort of disconnection to your CR body.
Your heart rate and breathing rate will most likely increase, especially if you’re new to shifting. Your body isn’t used to feeling like this; you should try to calm down and breathe normally.
People also sometimes hear/see/smell things from their DR! Some even have a signature scent or something they smell when they’re in their DR. Having a shifting sign is a whole another rant, but you know.
Another common one is seeing bright lights. I’ve personally never had this symptom, but it seems to be a likely symptom. This can also get a little distracting and uncomfortable, but again, I’ve never had it happen.
There are a lot more symptoms out there, but those are all the ones I can think of off the top of my head. If you’ve had any other symptoms, feel free to add on!
Overall, the symptoms can be distracting, but as you shift more you’ll get used to them.
Hope this helped!

hello! I've been doing my reading on the Julia method cause I wanna try it out and I've come across something called 'the void state'. wouldn't you happen to know what it is?
Hello, Anon!
I assume it’s something close to a SATS (State Akin To Sleep) or a meditative state. When you shift using any method, you go into a SATS. However, the Julia Method has you repeat “I AM” until you reach it; it’s special in that regard.
Also: people might not like using the acronym for State Akin To Sleep because most people associate SATS with standardized testing and don’t want to explain it sjdfklds
However, I’ve never heard that term "Void State” before, and I may be wrong. I’m just giving my best guess. If anyone else has heard the term, please add on!
