Peitha sketch I did between commissions Finished Soto today, so I felt like sketching one of my fav characters of the expansion (I do wish Cerus had more to do in the plot) Had a bit of a break from GW2 these days cause of an unfortunate interaction with a guild im in. Great guild with really good people mind you, but the specific subject of the interaction really soured me. Tried to have closure on lets say on the subject of me trying to find fun ways on having a more lore friendly way to approach my Unholy Trinity crossover with the GW setting and plot elements. Ended up being a lot of bad and completely off assumptions of my intent and my character presentation. Stuff like me wanting attention and people to like my characters(wich I never cared about, never want to force that on people), that I was the one shutting down discourse when met with "pitfalls"(wich was probably one of the most absurd ones since my issue was that there was not much back and forth), seeming assumptions like my characters being unkillable demigods(which they absolutely arent) and even potentially being compared to someone only talking about their OCs and never caring about other people's ones wich was honestly the one time I felt actually insulted by. Frankly if I had a way to ask my questions without bringing up my characters at all I would have done it. And I do care about other's characters in groups Im in, I just tend to ask about them in proper vocal conversations usually. Now Im at a spot where Im insecure about posting about my Trinity in this fandom because they are crossover characters. It sucks cause now I feel like people assume one of these bad assumption when Ill do stuff and it hurts. And mind you its on me for being bad with phrasing and such...but it still sucks, wish I wasnt so fucking sensible. Will probably only post pure lore related art in that guild discord. wish I never brought up my characters at all there. I did get back in the game, tho, as I said, enjoyed my first time with SOTO, hoping to enjoy Janthir as well. Ill try to get out of my head and make more GW2 crossover art, Ill prolly be more stingy on where I post it

ART TIME IDIOTS

First one is a dragon puppet I made, named Beetle! He came from a psyh ward and had to be muzzled and now he's a silly guy that's his lore

This next drawing is a redraw of my minecraft skin I've had since 2021! It was originally based off of my sona at the time, Shadow, but I redesigned him so now the skin is outdated. SO, I figured I'd make a design for this skin!

The next one is Aiden from Minecraft Story Mode! Tooth gore/slightly spooky/animal skull warning under the cut!

This is one of the first times I've legit tried to do a background, so forgive the mistakes please. I think it's okay though! I could've done more with Aidens posing, making it more dynamic and such, but, I might redraw this in the future, and I'll learn from my mistakes with this piece!

Aaaaaand finally, we've got this one! This is where the SPOOKS warning comes in, along with the animal skull! It's a drawing of my sona, Cryptis, but with some extra elements straying from his design, it's mainly a fun thing, plus a test for lighting! Bracket Updates!

Hello friends!

I’ve been getting lots of suggestions for cryptids to include in this showdown! I’m so excited to be getting such engagement on this idea, I was afraid I’d end up doing this and nobody would even vote. You’re all wonderful and I love you and I hope someone brings you flowers soon. <3

Currently, my bracket has 9 spots filled in, and I have several more suggestions in my inbox, so we’ll hopefully get the show on the road soon! And, very important to the process, I have polls now! So I’ll go through my ask box today and get the rest of the bracket filled out. I think I have more suggestions than I have spots left, at this point. Which is exciting but also sad! I might end up doing a couple of wildcard rounds in the middle to make sure nobody gets left out.

Last thing! As I fill out this bracket, I’m trying to pair up the first matchups by a theme. So far my themes are “hoaxes,” “classics,” “humanoids,” “turned out to be real,” and “quintessential American.” That’s 5/8 matchups. If anyone has suggestions for other matchup themes you’d like to see, let me know!
