The Corplangs

Gonna make cryptolangs for the Wings of The City because, as much as I would love to make fully original conlangs for each of them, I feel that it is A: More feasible to make really fancy cyphers/language games with built-in grammatical features than actual fully fledged languages and B: It makes as much sense for the Wings to make such cryptolangs as a means of protecting corporate secrets as well as adding to their brand while simultaneously cutting corners by not paying the language creators enough to warrant making entire lexicons for such languages.

That said, these "Corplangs" will be based on "The Head Language" which will be, for all intents and purposes, English. Yes, I'm a Native English Speaker. Yes, I'm not fluent in any other languages but willing to learn new words here and there when it suits me. It's just that English is the language I am most familiar with and that is the one I will be using to encrypt into the Corplangs.

Do you mind explaining how the "body and tail" system works in Giumalaita'i? Like, is an apostrophe inserted between the last and second to last word before being removed and repeated twice for each part of speech or something? IDK, it's your most creative cryptolang and I want to learn more about it.

The cryptolang makes standalone vowels into duals (a -> ue, for example). The last vowel, orthography-speaking, gets an apostrophe put before it, making it a "tail". As well, it breaks consonant clusters with standalone "a".

Far → Gu'es.

Mars → Nues'at

After that, the grammatic alterations are applied as listed in the post itself.

I just found out that you are the person who invented the term "cryptolang" and the system for which to document them. For that, I thank you.

My actual question is what do you do about altering grammatical aspects of a base language? Say that I want to turn pronouns into prefixes and such.

Well m'liege, that's purely up to the creator of a cryptolang. Via the notation, you could theoretically write it down via either word ("replace the pronoun She with Thaú-, attaching to the word after it") or via a CDS sequence like follows: She4Thaú1, which specifies that the isolated unit "She" turns into initial unit Thaú, erasing the spacebar after it.

Cryptolangs got no rules, anyone can make their own documentation standards, anything, tis' a free territory for everyone as I hold no copyright over any of that.

Cryptolang rules:

Every word consists of a body and tail. The various combinations of the two define the word as a part of speech.

Example: Aizuenaqama’i - p.n. (the) Example Aizuenaqamai - v. Give an example Aizuenaqama - n. An example

Aizuenaqam’a - adj. Exemplar

Every word has its own pronoun version, which in all cases is the tail (phraseology, “to tug on tails”, to talk using lots of pronouns to shorten speech).

Pronunciation rules:

Vowels are always forming diphthongs when put together. <c> - /ts/ <q> - /q~kʼ~kˤ~kʲ/ <x> - /ks~ɕ/ <j> - /ʤ/

To translate a word into Giumalaita’i: > Set it into its most basic form. > Encode with cryptolang. > Change to part of speech accordingly.

Giumalaita’i has no articles. Particles and other smaller parts of speech are only encoded with Talak and consonantal Deites; No Duenaga’ir. No verb tenses, all is contextual.

Translation example: "Just because you failed once, doesn't mean you're gonna fail at everything"

Mecodänäyn

A new level and concept in cryptolangs.

The vowels are encoded per their numeral position in the word; First vowel is changed into the 1st row, second - 2nd row, et cetera.

Name of the cryptolang is self-encoded "Macedonian" because it has 5 vowels: Enough to demonstrate the mechanic.

Highly interesting concept, to me. Diacritics optional.
