#87 Ty Dolla $ign feat. Wiz Khalifa & DJ Mustard - "Or Nah"
Cory: Boring af, as the kid$ say. Alright, that’s two duds out of the gate from Ty Dolla $ign. Can he go away now? Also, sorry bro, the whole “creaking bed as percussion” thing? Trillville covered that shit 10 years ago. 3/10
Brady: “I ain’t spending cash for nothing, I want to see you take it off. My name is Ty Dolla $ign, and I pay women to sleep with me. I don’t have a lot going for me in the personality department, so thank God I’m friends with DJ Mustard, lol.” 1/10
Karin: Another snoozefest. What is going on? Why is everything so sleepy this week? Maybe instead of #cryrap we need #snoozerap. 3/10
#75 Young Thug - "Stoner"
Brady: This is the first #cryrap track we’ve had on the charts in a while. Guess everyone’s waiting for that next Future drop. Ya know, I’m going to keep waiting for that Future drop. Here’s an interesting fact: the YouTube description for this song is the song’s title 24 times. Unnecessary. 0/10
Cory: According to my sources, this song is “the hottest shit” in every club in the south these days. Is this what the next big hip hop sound’s gonna be? This is so, so bad, even on #cryrap standards. Okay, so I wrote that first part after my first listen, and now I’ve listened to this dumb song 4 more times and I’m HOOKED ON IN. The fuck just happened to me? Is there a subliminal cult message in this song? Maybe that’s why it’s “the hottest shit.” Welp, time to go nae nae with my new friends. 0 NO WAIT 8/10
Karin: Good, good, it starts like every rap song ever, which is a great way to let the listener what genre of music they are in for. You know the saying "if someone tells you who they are, believe them." Well I am starting to get the feeling that Young Thug is a stoner! The good news is that I love stoner rap, this song doesn't do anything particualrly new for me, but it hits a soft spot. 6/10
