This unicorn is very obscure and only appears as a background character in the cartoon and minor character in the GBA game!

The first sign that made everyone in the Empire realise that something was wrong was when the first crying foals were found in the fields with tear-stained faces and bloody hooves, not daring to move a hoof for a reason they could not explain; sobbing quietly, and calling out to their parents, they were swiftly brought to the hospital in town by any Mare or Stallion fortunate enough to find them.

But when these Ponies walked into the fields to help the foals they found, they, too, got hurt, and they knew not what had hurt them, but they could not stop to think about this, as they had to bring these foals, and themselves, to the hospital; but when others asked them what had happened to them, they merely answered in an unusually angry tone, to the surprise of everyone, including themselves.

When this was brought to the attention of the Crystal Royals, they sent a message to the Princesses to the South to ask them for help and advice, and whether they knew what could have happened for so many Ponies to react so differently; but the Princesses had no answer to their questions, and since they were busy with cleansing the lands to the South, they could not offer much help to the Empire.

To their relief, the Princesses managed to create a spell to detect crystal shards and fragments in the area, but the spell was crude, and unfinished, and it would cost them time to find and clean up every last shard; until then, they were told, everypony should keep an eye out for unusual flickers of light, as this was the best way to check for any nigh invisible crystal shards scattered around.

But even though the smallest crystals were removed and destroyed over the next few days, the Ponies who were injured only worsened in mood and mannerisms, to the dismay of their families and friends, who understood not why this was happening; and they struggled to bear the sight of their loves ones changing so much so quickly, turning the kindest souls on Earth into bitter, angry, hateful Ponies.

Eventually, many of the shards of dark crystal were cleaned up, but there were more scattered along the streets of the Empire, and Ponies were still getting hurt, so the Royal Family asked every able Guard and Pony to be careful, and to warn their youngest foals; and here, Amethyst said, the phrase they had found scribbled on a wall in the tunnels, was created, to keep foals away from the shards.

As Luna and Celestia dried their tears, they and Nox let what Amethyst had told them process within their minds, as she continued, and said it was tough to see those kind Ponies turn angry; too often she had to help Ponies find books on loss, to help them deal with the sight of their changing loves ones, with which Star helped her whenever they were not leading the injured home from the hospital.

But on one of these walks, when Star walked past the Crystal Heart, which had been slowly regaining its magic power ever since the cleansing wave washed over the Empire, with a changed Pony, they saw their worn, stained and tired form glow brightly, and they collapsed; after they woke up again, and quietly and politely asked Star what had happened to them, their crystal coat was clean once again.

After a brief explanation from Star, and a tearful, yet grateful apology from the healed Pony, Star brought them home, before they dashed home themselves and wrote a scroll to the Princess to let her know what happened; and over the next few days, every hurt foal and Pony was brought to the Crystal Heart at the request of the Royal Family, where they were healed of their corruption shortly after.

When every hurt Pony had been healed, and returned to their overjoyed loved ones, who were grateful beyond belief they had finally returned, and the last crystal shards had been cleaned, the Princess visited Star, and thanked them for all their help; and Star gracefully nodded to the Princess, when she stopped them and bowed to Star in return, before she waved goodbye, and returned to the Palace.

Nobody knew they never told her they had been hurt as well, yet the Heart could not cleanse them…

Hi again! I've returned from Summer Camp, which was an absolutely amazing experience, and I'm back to writing and drawing again! Apologies for the radio silence in the last few days, but Summer Camp was so incredibly fun, I took no time to make any drawings. But no worries, these will return soon! I almost have all the spiritship based couples done. Now I just need neospiritshipping. ^^ I also tried my hand at the crystal princess. I wasn't to sure about her at first, but she's starting to grow on me.
