Piper begrudgingly opened her eyes, waking up as the light of the morning sun slipped into her room through the porthole window. She buried her face in her pillow to grumble at the fact she had to get up. She turned to the other side and smiled.

Across from her, still asleep, was Cyclonis.

The groggy mage couldn’t help but feel her chest flutter at the way the light brought out the purple hues of her girlfriend’s dark hair. And giggled at how Cy was softly snoring. *So quiet, she’s prim and proper even in her sleep*

Piper decided she could stay in bed a little while longer, even if it was just for the view.
