So maybe Blue Diamond got stuck on earth?
Maybe she retreated into her gem/diamond within a super secure, maze like fortress to be protected?
Maybe thousands of years later a literal child solved the traps and puzzles and she was bubbled and is now in the temple????
(I realize that gem isn’t ‘blue’ but that was only episode 8! Not sure how much was planned out at that point)

In France, it was the premiere of Barn Mates and Hit the Diamond, where we saw our favorite gems with a new look, personally, I loved to saw Saphire and Lapis <3 And it was a great idea to change her names, like Sophie and Amy, or Earl and Bob.
Steven's got a lot on his plate - he and Peridot have to stop the cluster, protect the earth against enemies old and new, and all the residents of Beach City seem to have problems that need Steven's help! There are still things about his family, powers, and the gems that Steven doesn't know. But don't worry, there's still time to sing!
