Nope! Jade wouldn’t do that it’s not in her nature; if she’s romantically inclined with someone, she’d be theirs faithfully! 

sapphire: if everyone my muse knew was hanging off a cliff and they could only choose three to save, the rest certainly dying, who they would choose

this is revenge isn’t it? honestly first three that comes to mind are Aradia, Bec and John, but then Bec can teleport and so it’s an odd question to ponder because technically speaking Bec could probably save everyone, but then how could Bec die certainly with teleport and then I go down a rabbit hole when I should be studying so let’s just stick with those initial three for now ouo

zoisite: does my muse believe everything’s going to work out for them in the end or not?

Jade believes that as long as she’s been the most useful person/tool/weapon for the Crew, that’s enough for her. She knows that one day she’ll die, and it’ll probably before most of the crew; she’s only human in the end. As long as people will regard her fondly, then it’ll be enough.

gold: my muse's financial situation

So he grew up a poor kid once his dad left, and he has maintained the Thrift Store Hipster style of life ever since then.  He is still technically broke as far as his own personal assets -- aside from the Mayfair Trust Fund he has refused to touch.  Luxury and wealth are strange concepts to him.  He feels very much out of place among the other Coven vampires who live extravagantly.  Gifts of fast cars, expensive clothes or other material objects feel very foreign.  When he was first handed a credit card without a limit he treated it like The Holy Grail.

It hasn’t occurred to him yet that he has the freedom to buy out his entire Amazon or Steam wishlists.  One of these days he might catch on but his instinct it still very much living a second hand goods lifestyle.

Amazonite and serpentine

Amazonite: what kind of situations call for my muse to be dishonest / Serpentine: how my muse would seduce another [alt: how my muse makes their money]

Amazonite: Miller is terrible at keeping a lie going for very long.  His conscience will eventually cause him to break and tell the truth.  He prefers blunt honesty anyway.  It’s way easier to be direct then to try juggling any dishonesty with other people.  That’s a lot of work to invest in.  The only time he thinks it is okay to lie without much impact on his conscience is in situations where the lie feels kinder for the other person.  If telling the lie will make them feel better or if it will defuse a situation, or if he might be doing them a favor in the long run.

Serpentine: When it comes to seduction, he’s very much a vocal kind of seducer.  Despite his awkwardness the nerd can be very smooth when it comes to saying the right things to other people, especially if he has an interest in forming a sexual relationship.  He’s got Julien Mayfair’s genetics in him -- and the man certainly didn’t single-handedly populate most of New Orleans without being considerably charming.  Miller likes to make his would-be partner feel sexy.  Or try to shape himself into an attractive target once he has a sense for what they like.

dolomite: a sleep headcanon

When he was mortal he didn’t sleep very much.  His brain is constantly active and it was difficult for him to settle it quiet in order to enjoy any deep restorative sleep.  Now that he’s a young vampire the Day Sleep forces him to shut down for a little while.

Miller tends to sleep either curled up on his side or on his stomach.  Since he’s spent a good portion of his lifetime dealing with beds that are too small for his long legs he tends to keep tucked up.  He’s definitely one of those types of people who can’t abide sticking their foot out of the blanket because he has totally had that paranoia fulfilled about something grabbing it when he does.  So even when it his summer he’d rather sweat it out than risk anything touching him while he sleeps.  It’s a childhood holdover and superstition that he has kept with him as an adult.

He also prefers to have an active light source in the room when he is bedding down.  Either a lamp, or a television on in the background.  He’ll deny having any fear of the dark anymore yet it definitely makes him anxious even with Super Vampire Night Vision.  One of those psychological comforts that he needs to be comfortable.

jade: if my muse would ever cheat on a partner

This is dependent on the context of the situation with his partner.  If the relationship is straightforward with an understanding of you + me = just us, then Miller is fully capable of being 100% loyal with a monogamous relationship.  In fact, that would be an ideal for him.  He believes in the chance of one true love, being with another person for a lifetime, no matter how much he’ll sarcastically disparage love or romance in general.  Miller has that romantic’s heart buried beneath his crusty shell of denial.

If the situation with his relationship is ambiguous or open or there are other people factored into his partner’s sexual/romantic dealings -- then yes.  Yes, he will cheat on them.  Because he’s a vindictive son of a bitch.  And in a circumstance like that he will convince himself that fair is fair, so it should be equal opportunity all the way.  But this doesn’t bring him any lasting joy.  In fact, he will beat himself up for it often.  Then it tends to cause him to start acting out in self-destructive ways when he has poisoned his opinion of himself with such behaviors.

galena: what it's like to be in a relationship with my muse

When it comes to romantic relationships he tends to have cycles of hot and cold.  It’s very easy for him to overthink things to the point where he convinces himself he is not important to his partner, and will often act out when in this negative mode.  Sometimes with actions but usually with words.  He is not adequately informed on how a healthy relationship should work.  Having spent several years in a toxic partnership that manipulated his perceptions of how they’re meant to be.  When he is doing well, though, Miller likes to be very giving to his partner, both sexually and otherwise.

He can be demanding, especially when his partner is doing things that make him feel inferior or insecure.  If it gets to be too much he’ll even shut himself down inside to the point of being completely cold towards the other person.  Miller tends to harbor a buried belief that every relationship is merely a transitory phase that will eventually end up with him alone.  He has difficulty trusting in any true permanence with another person.  Like there’s no way someone is going to want to be around him forever.

Anyone that tries to end up with him is going to need to be patient, and accept him for both his strengths and these painful flaws in his personality.  It puts him in an extremely vulnerable position to open himself up to loving another person or building trust in them, and oftentimes when that is compromised he ends up regression to Square One all over again.  He’s definitely a piece of work.

Copper: How I think my muse will end up when they're older

If Miller manages to survive the centuries, he’ll likely end up wandering the world unless he has a constant companion to keep him grounded.  Should it get to the point where there is no one with him it’s possible that he’ll become a nomadic creature that moves around searching for things that interest him, perhaps doing his own investigations, trying to reclaim a sense of purpose he had with the Talamasca.
