there were a lot of designs i wanted to draw this month that i just couldn't fit in to another prompt. so today, you get many linktober drawings for the price of one!

albw link my beloved. i like how this design gives him such strong red hair (his model is ginger so i love seeing ginger versions of him!) and the balance with the green is nice. also love seeing albw links with that hat pattern like he has as a painting. the patterns on his cloak + hat are so nice & i really like the idea of the two triforces on his gloves, it's cute + creative. and i love seeing albw link with purple eyes, because ravio's are green. they match!

i love all of churomo's designs, they are so cute. and i really really love this alttp link design. the pink & blue are so nice, good colour balance, very striking. and the pink used for the hair is especially nice, it looks so soft & pretty. speaking of the hair, i love it; i am always a fan of a side-braid and this one is so cute. the hibiscus flower is also a nice touch, and i like that it matches the eyes.

very much a lesser known game here (not even ancient stone tablets, og bstloz) so i've never seen any art of this zelda design save this one. luckily this one is adorable. excellent interpretation of the sprite, i love the dress. and the poofy sleeves. and the hair. she's so cute. i had a hard time picking which palette to use, she looks so nice in every colour!

you may be able to tell, but i was considering this design for day 15 before settling on the design i used instead. i'm quite happy with how that day turned out, and with day 12, when i used a different design by this artist- but i still wanted to draw this link with the mermaid suit. (honestly, it was quite helpful to have this in mind, because otherwise i would've spent weeks trying to decide which lilyblossom design to put in this post. i love them all so much.) it's rare to see an oracles link that isn't also an alttp link, so this design is really interesting to me! i love the blue & yellow palette and the fluffy hair.

i've seen a lot of post-totk zelda designs and this one is my favourite. she is so pretty. the colour palette is gorgeous, the green and blue and teal, paired with the warm tone of her hair, it's SO nice. i am a big fan.

all of the zelda designs linked there are fantastic (as are all of the link designs from that au) but i admit, i am biased, and so of course i went for albw zelda. this design of her is so nice- the pink, the orange, the gold... she's like a sunset. (shoutout her gloves, which i am a big fan of but which did not make it into the drawing.) and i always love designs that give her (or alttp zelda for that matter) short hair like this. she's so cute.

aoc link designs tend to put him in either the royal guard set or the champion's tunic. this design does something i haven't seen before, which is make the champion's tunic be the royal guard set. i really like how it looks- the dark purple suits it well. the white gloves and boots didn't make it into this drawing but they are excellent as always, and i LOVE the champion-blue tie on his wrist. also a big fan of the inclusion of the diamond circlet.
Wow that rolled around quickly, but Happy 2 years!
I truly apologise for the lack of updates, but I’ve been prioritising quality over quantity, and I’m not too happy with my art right now, so that’s a reason why I haven’t been updating as much lately. I compare myself to others, and I know that’s not a healthy way for improvement, but I’m trying to break that habit. However, this comic is still very much alive and I appreciate all the love I’ve gotten for the past 2 years, so thank you all and expect more from me :>
So again, thank you, to all of the 454 of you, you’ve made the past 2 years exciting.
In the ref you wrote that Effigy was from albw, but is he also the link from tfh ?
If yes, what are their personalities? 👀 And where is the violet one ?
And I wonder how tag and shadow would react...
I’ve thought about it a LOT, but after making the ref sheet, seeing that Oracle, Scout and Effigy have the same colours as triforce heroes I had too
It was originally Tag, but I decided against that for timeline reasons
As for personalities umm Effigy is hard working, he likes helping people, rich asf, I’ve definitely collected more rupees in that game than any other Zelda game (without glitches, looking at you botw and Totk) he’s friendly, and ginger
Oracle is kinda similar, though he’s more reserved, afraid of water(for good reason) being on 5 adventures, he’s a leader type when put into a group, though he prefers to work alone in dungeons
Scout is a recluse in his Hyrule, he might have saved the world twice, and found the triforce, he’s not really very sociable to anyone, even the Zeldas, he likes using magic, absolutely despises dungeons, his world is harsh, and so is he, doesn’t really get social cues, doesn’t really speak
A purple Link isn’t in the game, and if he was, it would be Ravio
I don’t think Tag (or Shadow) would have any major opinions on them, though, Tag would take an interest in the soul swapping thing going on in single player mode, but that would be it
