New CS store pet predictions: 1. Something mediocre, plain recolored dog lines with maybe one accessory added to them, 2. Actually good store pets with either heavily edited or straight-up unique lineart that's worthy of real money, 3. CS decides to keep the friendship dragons bullshit going but with other animals, ruining the CS economy for the entire year

Oh. Oh wow. If this piece of fucking shit tumblr didn’t lose my godamn rant 3 times before this maybe I’d put more detail into this but holy fucking shit these dragons are a train wreck.
First off, they don’t even look like Store Pets. I could much better imagine these pets being commons, perhaps even uncommon at most. Secondly, let’s all just get this out of the way and air it- their palettes are shit. None of them go together, nor have theme, or even *the basics* to be a store pet which is having a new and individual lineart. Even the 2017 store pet dragons atleast had decent colors and original lineart. We all know Store Pets follow a certain theme, (Gryphons being birds, Deers being elements, Dino’s being Dino’s, etc.) but these..? Their poor excuse for theme is “friendship” by slapping matching jewelry that probably took them less than 10 minutes to do. None of their designs tie into eachother, or the “theme” friendship or whatever. It’s just a lousy excuse. Not only that, their linearts don’t even match. It’s 2 and 2- Not something I’ve seen with other store pets, and the fact that they are re-using linearts.. yikes. Come on, perhaps even a shred of originality with these guys? I’m sure perhaps maybe some of the more juvenile users or users that like bright and flashy colors will enjoy these maybe sometime in the future. But for those of us past our “Twilight Sparkle” phase, these are unappealing and sloppily done to say the least. It just makes me tick a bit that they actually want real currency for this, like their proud of it. they looked rushed as hell. I mean just take a look at any previous store pets. I feel like the artist sat down and hour before the turnover time and threw these sloppy pieces together. It’s a shame, really. Staff on the site used to put so much time and thought into each pet. Now it’s come to selling this.

A user wanted to pay me one zodiac dog and a few rares for three complete pieces of art. A full body - lineart colored and shaded A half body - lineart colored and shaded And a bust - lineart colored and shaded Generally it’s a pwyw but the more pets the better quality and they wanted to know the SET price for them. Turned down the full body cause they couldn’t afford it, then agreed with the bust and half body. Get halfway done with their first order and then they cancel it all together. Just please be aware of how long it takes for artists to put forward their time and effort. x3x
