finally finished my doll art peice. his name is matthew and the name for the art is "hidden in linen and lace". I made him to represent my inner child but had a breakdown after he was done because i felt as though i traumatized a child and hurt him by creating him. i felt like my abuser. making art is so important for my healing but damn, it hurts sometimes. The idea that people dont want to look at him because they think he is creepy.. If people would have looked a little closer, they would have seen the bruises and tears. He is the weight of a real baby and i cry everytime i hold him.
