its all good and fine, most activists and allies have a specific area or group they focus on, but the issue starts when you generalize YOUR issues and make it seem like its universal, failing to mention youre talking about the US, a thing way too common all over the internet

so im watching szaffi rn (a hungarian cartoon) and it brought up an interesting question for me bc some of the depictions of muslims are just.. rly not good but the question is if it uses stereotypes, but the stereotypes and the caricature are making fun of the oppressor in this instance, is it still racist or is it a justified caricature?

from the eldest daughter. mothers are on such a different level as an eastern european. theres this stronger than the world bond of trauma that you cannot escape from. these chains that they got from their own mothers and pulled your hand into the moment you were born. i dont care about all the positives. i hate that my hand is forever chained to her in a way i cannot escape. im the closest to her. im the person she leans on. im her emotional support. her therapist. the nanny. both of her and my sister. im the problem solver. if something is too much for her, i take care of it. im the comfort, the support, and the caretaker.

im the mother of my own mom. and im fed up with my daughter.
