This fandom is filled with so many incredibly talented writers. I am forever in awe of the stories, drabbles, and creations our fandom brings to life. I know I'm behind on reading, but that doesn't mean i appreciate these writers any less.

@lilyoffandoms: I know Lily left our fandom a couple months ago, but they will forever be one of my favorite writers. Their fics always inspired and moved me. Their characters were so real and diverse. I knew that anytime they posted whether I knew the story/characters or not, I would fall in love with the characters and world they built. Reading Lily's work and their encouragement and love made me a better writer. I will never be able to say enough how important or special they are to my time here. Maiele and Daenarya's friendship like mine with Lily is one of my favorite parts of this fandom! I'm forever grateful for all the time we (and our characters) shared together!

@jerzwriter: You are an incredible writer. All of your pairings are so lovely, but you know T & C will forever be my favorite. They are the most charming, loving, and all around fun. I always look forward to their next adventure whether it's a flirty moment, a romantic one, or a soft family moment, they are all just wonderful.

Also, Casey is a wonderful friend for Olivia, as you are to me! Love ya! (Though I still need to figure out a way to cross over with Mal/Daenarya and Tobias/Casey because they'd be hilarious!)

@princess-geek: your modern desire & decorum series never ceases to blow me away with each new chapter. The care, devotion, and time you put into it is evident in each line. Your series is such a strong point for this fandom!

@cadybear420: You have brought Aiden and Cady to life in so many different ways. Whether in art, edits, headcanons or fics they feel so real and charming. I always love learning more about them. And your sexy writing for them is always so enjoyable! (looking at you piano training). I can't wait to see where the future takes them.

@liaromancewriter: You took Sienna who was already great and made her a full main character. Your Sienna is just one of my favorite parts of this fandom. She is so real and wonderful. Her and Max are always a lot of fun. I love their punny text exchanges and posts. The heart and love between them is truly beautiful. They are definitely one of my favorite pairings.

@rjschoicesstuff: I know I'm behind on reading your work, but I love your ID world. I still haven't read ID but your world is so real and canon to me that I don't even want to. I absolutely love your Ripley's Diaries series. I love seeing things from her perspective and seeing how she processes everything. The entries have so much heart and are so genuine. I look forward to catching up and whatever else you have in store for us in the future.

@loreofyore: you are a magnificent writer. I know COP3 was rough and kind of ruined things for you, but your previous COP fics were always just perfection! Whether Trystan or Sebastyan, I always enjoyed what you created. I know you're writing ID now, I hope to one day read ID so that I better understand the characters and world you are creating. I know that whatever your writing will be amazing because you are amazing!

@aallotarenunelma: It's so great to see you back. You are a wonderful part of this fandom. You are a talented writer. Your flower series has always lived in my head. You took those prompts and created some of the most gorgeous stories around the flowers. I couldn't have asked for anyone to interpret those prompts any more beautifully. I know you posted a new flower story, so I really am looking forward to reading it! I know it will be stunning!

@ladylamrian: You truly keep the Nightbound fandom alive with all your stories and adventures for your Alex and Nik. It's always wonderful to see. I hope that one day the book club chooses to read Nightbound. I haven't read it in years and would love to revisit that world.

@peonyblossom: You have so many unique, inclusive, and incredible characters, especially in the it lives world. I am truly impressed with how many unique characters you've created and write for and how you keep them all straight. It's a labor of love, I'm sure, and you do a wonderful job!

@dutifullynuttywitch : you have such a beautiful way of writing. I absolutely adore your stories with Autumn and Mal! Autumn is a beautiful character inside and out just like her creator.

@rafasgirl23415 : You take so much time and care keeping your Open Heart series alive. It's really inspiring to see how much love you put into it.

I love that there are still so many incredible and talented creators and supporters in this fandom. The fact that 101 unique users were celebrated is a remarkable feat! However, I recognize that that list is not complete.

Even though our fandom is "small", it's still bigger than 101 users. I know there are users who didn't receive a shoutout. To them, I want to send this special message, You are important. Your presence matters in this fandom. Whether you have many supporters or only a close few, you matter. Your contributions matter. Please never forget the worth and value you have.

While 101 users were named in the event, only 22 users participated (at least once). Imagine how many more users could have been reached if all 101 users mentioned named 1 other person...

I encourage everyone, whether you participated in this event or not, to take a few minutes and reach out to someone in this fandom. Thank them for what they do. Check in on someone you haven't heard from in a while. Or just say hi. Our fandom is small but it's still here. Each of us makes a difference, each of us matters. As I'm freshly returning to the community, right on time for my favourite event, I want to encourage all my fellow writers to keep on writing.

There are days you will write pages and pages, and get annoyed that life will get in the way. There are days you will sigh in front of your draft and get frustrated, because piecing words together will look like a battle. Don't give up. Even one sentence is a progress.

And yes, you do have talent. And the more you will write, the more you will improve. It sounds cliché, but this is the real secret. Continue sharing your characters, keep on telling their stories. You never know how much it impacts your readers. Thank you for being here, and making this tiny community a better place. 💛
