Jazz Concert: ‘Happening Now’ May 12

Jazz One, “Happening Now” is the latest installment of the College of Southern Maryland Ward Virts Concert Series. The concert is set for 3 pm Sunday, May 12, at the CSM Prince Frederick Campus, Building B, in the Multipurpose Room.

The Prince Frederick Campus is located at 115 J.W. Williams Road, Prince Frederick.

College Exhibit Honors Art Students

The College of Southern Maryland‘s annual Juried Student Exhibition is currently showing at the La Plata Campus. The exhibit will run until Wednesday, May 8. A reception and award ceremony will be held at 2:30 pm Tuesday, April 30.

The exhibition is being presented in the Tony Hungerford Memorial Art Gallery in the Fine Arts Center lobby at 8730 Mitchell Road.

Matin Family Creates Memorial Endowment

Hammad Matin and his family gave the CSM Foundation $100,000 in memory of their mother Shaheen A. Matin, who graduated from CSM in 1990.
