Heya! Im new to using CSP and haven't found brushes I really like yet, what brushes do you use/recommend? Any tutorials on messing with the brush settings that you find useful? Im coming from PS to CSP and am still adjusting ! Thank you !

I usually don't mess with settings lmaoo I'm lazy. I just love to look for the right brush until I'm satisfied! My advice is to take the time to find the right ones for you as CSP have a big supply of them, just look by popularity!

I had to make this diagram for someone. I figured I might as well use it for Krupuk tips.

But it's pretty basic and works with any semi-transparent brush.

Achieving both soft color blending and a markery paper texture isn't super straightforward in Clip Studio Paint so this is one of several options you have to achieve it.

i feel like a fun fact if you use csp to draw digitally is that if you go into 'edit' at the top at the very bottom there's an option called 'hide windows and pick screen color' that auto-closes the window to allow you to colour pick from like a web browser or something. its very useful!!

'Pick screen colour' lets you pick from the csp menu, useful if you have multiple monitors, and 'hide windows and pick screen color' hides the csp window and reveals the window below, useful if you (like me) only have one screen or monitor.

Hey Mei!! Sorry to bother but i wanted to ask bc i saw that you used 3D models as reference for this last stream and as a self-taught artist ive been having trouble finding a good site or program for poses and such with like multiple body types, without dropping hundreds so i was wondering, what models or what program or what...whatever, do you use for that?

Hey hun!

I did; I actually use Clip Studio Paint's built in 3D function. I just loaded in the female human model (it's in the material folders) and then changed the 3D model to the more anatomically realistic version (rather than the anime proportions).

From there, there's actually the options to edit the body type under tool settings (I made Bea's body type to my basic abilities and then just saved the settings to drag into the 3D model later).

Admittedly I'm not too familiar with the 3D workshop for CSP, but I'd heavily recommend looking up poses in the Asset Store. They're a VERY good resource!
