Every month FanForum chooses three boards to Spotlight, this month we have selected the Heroes Board!
Heroes is an NBC Sci-Fi show that begun airing in 2006. In this serial drama, Heroes follows the lives of people across the globe who possess various superhuman powers as they struggle to cope with their everyday lives and prevent foreseen disasters from occurring. Heroes premiered its finale in 2010 but that was not the last we heard of it. The fated show sparked spin-offs such as Heroes Unmasked and Heroes Reborn which hit television screens in 2007 and 2015.
The Heroes Board was opened on November 19th, 2006 only two months after the show first premiered and has been one of the most dedicated places on the internet to discuss and pay tribute to this past show. The current moderators of this board are PhoenixRising (Alex) and samira_86 (Sam), both are dedicated fans of Heroes and are extremely welcoming to all those who visit the Heroes Board. Pulling away from that, the Heroes board isn't just about the Moderators. The board is also home to some fantastic and passionate posters who love their home on FanForum. The Heroes board has everything from character appreciation threads, episode/season discussions, re-watches, to fun and games! Something unique about the Heroes board is that they have a really inclusive Fantasy Trivia Roster Game where each poster chooses a certain number of characters from television, movies, comics, ect. and posters get to interact with one another by asking questions about their characters! Now I know Trivia isn't everyone's forte...but don't fret, you can get to know this FanForum family through their Off-Topic thread where posters alike hang out together.
