ahahaha! whoever finds it in their dish gets good luck, right? isn’t there an irish thing that does that?

I'm sure there is -- there's a Greek thing as well, for New Years, where you bake a coin into a cake, which is why, when I told my dad, he was like, you should have left it, it'd be like Vasilopita! And I was like, dad, no.

!!!! Did you get it back?

I did! I ended up taking the spanakopita out of the oven, lifting off the top layers of phyllo (in mostly one piece), and digging through the spinach and feta with a spoon until I found it and got it out. Then I put the spanakopita back together and it went back in the oven, looking considerably worse for wear, but whatever, it still ended up tasting fine.

(for the anon who wanted Stevetasha) Imagine Steve's thoughts after Natasha's impromptu kiss while they're on the run, after Natasha kisses him on the cheek later, and after Natasha kisses him--unexpectedly--after one of their usual friend dates. This time, the kiss means something different altogether. (Stevetasha if you like, poly!Nat who is also involved with a consenting Clint [or Pepper!] would be cute too, or poly Steve/Nat/Sam/[Bucky?] with Steve and Nat's first romantic or sexual kiss)

By 'friend dates' they mean 'exercising.' This particular day, Steve and Nat have been sparring. She has him pinned, her knees on his shoulders. He puts his hands on her hips so he can roll them, but then--and then--

Vaguely he can hear Sam whooping and Bucky wolf-whistling. His hands are still at her waist, his fingers spanning back so far that he can feel the knots of her spine against his fingertips.

Natasha sits up, still resting her hands against his chest, and Steve considers what to say to her. In the background Sam and Bucky continue to mutter to each other behind their hands.

"So--is that," he starts, and pauses to consider, "is this--like, a thing? You know, that we do now?"

Getting to her feet, Natasha slips in under Sam's outstretched arm as Bucky comes over to help Steve up. "I vote yes," Bucky says, one hand on the back of Steve's neck, and the next thing Steve knows, the four of them are trying to find sheets that will fit their extra-extra-wide bed.

less than 2 months and i am binder free 4 life! after 2 and a half years doing it. which is not that long but it’s long enough imo

congratulations! i've managed to tolerate corsets strung pretty tight before, but binders take it all to a whole new level and i have mad respect for you for even two and a half years of it.

gpoy. i actually went back to lady underwear after about 6 months of unsuccessful manpantying LOL

ultimately it's not gonna be a huge problem for me because i am layering the man panties over the lady panties, because man panties can double as acceptable pj shorts

but my god is this something i need to get used to or what
