Toronto Blue Jays slugger and Cuban Kendrys Morales fell short of tying the record of homering in eight straight games. Had he hit a homer last night against the Orioles, Morales would have tied Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. (1993), Don Mattingly (1987) and Dale Long (1956) with homers in eight straight games.
