a convexian thought I have it's that, grian might feel a bit othered sometimes bc scar and cub have a way to understand each other on the deeper emotional levels that he doesnt even if he tries to get there for them. And this causes he sometimes acts distant but also possesive bc insecurity. And both convex are very confused about it tho cub has an idea of what the problem is but doesnt know how to begin to talk it out yet.
And that their favorite date activity is pranking and messing with others. Specially when they have power to levarage over others like with the permit office. They'd love being evil together
Oh yeah absolutely Grian definitely has some insecurity about how close Scar and Cub are and how Deeply they understand eachother. I think Cub would bridge that gap by telling Grian that he has a way of understanding Scar that Cub could never have. And thats in Also being aroace (Yall will rip aroace4aroace scarian from my cold dead hands).
It's a way of intimacy that Cub will never quite be able to understand the way the other two do. And it'd be a source of Cubs own insecurity and worry (such as, maybe hes overstepping boundaries ect ect bc he is allo and thus things read a bit differently). Even when Cubs own intimacy w Scar would be described as platonic by both parties, it's different when one party does hold romo feelings, while the other Cannot. Ect ect ect.
Point is I think Cub and Grian could bond over the insecurities they'd have in the relationship!! They both love Scar and are also good friends to eachother, even with Grians penchant for zipping his lips and stubbornly pretending nothing is wrong, Cub is still Cub and will pry it out of him eventually.
As for dates-
GOOODDD YEAH THE PERMIT OFFICE- And any similar pranking fun. You're SO right they love to scheme and cause chaos and mischief. Devious little bastards we love them.
