there's this image in my head and it calms me down every time (it's like redbeard for sherlock): it's cold outside of 221B, around, like, 6-7-8 pm and they can hear rain droplets hitting the windows. but the fire is burning, and it's hot inside the flat. they're both sleepy on the couch, lying on top of each other, sherlock is talking about clever stuff, john is smiling softly while listening to him and playing with his hair, and sherlock is playing with john's fingers. they're happy and gay ❣️

My heart is aching. I would pay the devil all my savings just to see this happening on screen. This little piece of casual intimacy and domesticity.

But yeah nonetheless. This is a very pleasing , calming headcanon. Love it. Thank you.
