Heyy baby!!! Any story to share (like a ghost story)

Aree I am really sorry, I saw this ask really late but yeahh I have one um... Nahi two stories.

Based on true incidents:

1. There’s a Punjabi folklore spirit called Saleda, believed to be a shapeshifter that lingers in dense, deserted areas. People say it’s rarely heard of now because forests have shrunk and places aren’t as isolated anymore, but back in the older days, stories of encounters were much more common.

One such story comes from my mother’s maternal uncle. He was a wrestler, and once, while returning from a tournament, it got quite late. His bullock cart got stuck midway on the route. Even though he had the option to wait or ask for help, for some reason he decided to move ahead alone. The path he chose was less used — people usually avoided it after sunset.

After walking a few miles, he saw a bull standing right in the middle of the road. Something about it felt… off. It was larger and far stronger-looking than any normal bull. As he cautiously stepped closer, the bull suddenly began to change its shape, growing even bigger and more unnatural.

That’s when he realized, it wasn’t an ordinary animal. It was the Saleda.

I don’t really know what that spirit gains from these encounters, but it almost feels… lonely in a strange way. People say it harms you, but not to the point of killing you.

According to what I’ve heard, if someone ever comes face to face with a Saleda, they have only a few ways to deal with it— either confront it and stand your ground, or try to scare it off by shouting harsh abuses, or remove every bit of your cloth (completely naked) . It’s believed that it has a sense of sharam, which is why such behavior can make it back off.

So yeah coming back to the story, he decided to fight with that spirit because he was a wrestler, the spirit changed it's form from a bull to wrestler to bull and so on and he also fought with the spirit till morning. After the dawn the spirit disappeared but Mumma's mamu got ill badly and after two days he died. People says that on the night when he died a black cat came to the dead body and before the car could touch his head a person woke up and the cat left. They believe that it was Saleda because he doesn't wanted to take his life .

Also when he died he was in his 20s only

The other incident happened with me , not the one with Saleda but something unstelling. If you want to know about that too you can send another ask. But now cous I thought about that I am going to listen to Hanuman Chalisa 🙏🏻

So, this happened a few years ago. It was summer, and everyone was sitting outside, just chatting and laughing. I went inside for a quick washroom break. As soon as I locked the door, I heard a knock— a very clear one.

I wasn’t scared at all at first. We’d just been joking around, so I assumed it was my sister trying to annoy me like always. I didn’t respond. Then suddenly… I heard a voice. A very clear whisper calling my nickname—not once, not twice, but three times. (Bhai, even talking about it now is giving me chills 😭)

I got annoyed and answered back, thinking it was her. Right after that, I heard another knock. When I opened the door — there was no one there.

I knew it wasn’t possible for someone to run away that fast, but still, I convinced myself it had to be my sister. So I went back outside… and there she was, calmly playing with a cat. When I asked my grandma because sometimes my parents also join her in pranks — she said my sister hadn’t moved at all. No one had come inside.

This didn’t just happen once, it happened twice. The second time… I stayed completely silent.

But the thing is, after that… my health started deteriorating. The reason behind it felt very obvious and clear to me, I just don’t feel like saying it out loud, but I think you can understand what I mean. (I am fine now )

Also, my sister once said she saw some strange figure roaming around our house and honestly, that freaked me out. I don’t even know if it was real or just her imagination, but it still gives me chills.

Bhai hamara ghar hai ya bhooton ka adda how can I forget the strange walking noises i used to hear everyday from our roof like someone is dragging something, but it's quiet from some days. And at very particular time some street dogs used to howl loud and yeah bas kuch mahino phele ki hi baat hai ,

These aren’t just random paper scraps, these are the cards my sister and I gave to our mother on her birthday and on Mother’s Day that she kept them all safe, carefully tucked away in her almirah(there are more 😭), like little pieces of her heart she never wanted to lose.

We thought it was our job to make her day special, but somehow, she’s the one who made ours unforgettable.

No matter how much we do, it will never match the endless love she pours into us every single day.
