Imagine a cuddly
Drider Partner
-They speak to you in a soft whispery hissing voice. Making soft clicking noises when they are excited or concerned or curious. Even purring. Who knew spiders purr? You do.
-Large female driders who have smaller ordinary spiders check up on you and bring messages.
-She doesn't mind if you step on them, she eats them anyway. Sometimes they bring you small gifts like candy or coins or small flowers.
-When you visit her in person she holds you close and cradles you in her web. She keeps every gift you give her. Her favorite is the clothes or fabric. She doesn't actually need them but loved inhaling the scent of you from them.
-Large male driders who have bright colors and strong legs and large venomous fangs. They insist on carrying you.
-They will scare off anything they perceive to be a threat to you. From people to other driders. It's cute but also silly when they bare their fangs at you phone when it startled you.
-They never get aggressive towards and your presence calms them. They melt at your touch and would fight for you til the end.
-Small female driders that fit in the palm of hand and plant kisses all along your arms and neck and face.
-Except, they get a little careless and their tiny fangs prick your skin. Thankfully, they notice and give the antidote they carry at times. You have to coax them to come when they hide from you in shame.
-They love siting on your shoulder and braiding your hair. They decorate your home in webbing careful not cover anything like your tv or place it a way that makes trip over it.
-They make you a hammock for birthday and it's become a place for both to cuddle in while you nap or read a book. She's also more than happy to eat all the pests in your home.
- Alternatively, small male driders. They are very skittish and you don't seem them at first but they see you. They leave small tokens of their affections, dead bugs at first then flowers and coins and small colorful rocks. Notes hastily scrawled with praise, lost items returned to your desk.
-When they finally reveal themselves, they put on a display. They raise their feathery appendages with their bright colors and they dance. They dance and dance and dance, until they nearly fall over from exhaustion.
-When they and see you just standing there, they panic thinking you didn't like it. Until you scoop them up and kiss their fuzzy little head. They nearly fail over from joy, little legs twitching. They dance for you often, especially when you're sad.
-Despite being no bigger than a quarter, they get around easily. Jumping from the floor to your shoulder to give you advice or leaping onto your arm when you get injured .
