A silver beam slashed through the air, singeing the ground in front of the intruders. When the light faded away, a petite figure stood at the top of the shrine steps.
"It's forbidden to enter at this hour" blade in hand, amber eyes glared down. She leaped from the top of the steps, landing on the tips of her feet before them. She pointed her blade forward, sizing them up. Hn, it's just a couple of boys.
"What. Do you want?"

"Ethannnnn!" Glomp and arms wrapping around his neck from behind. Yeap. Concentration. All gone. Head tilting towards him with a huge, childish grin. "Heheh, surprise?"

"Over here, over here~" The melodious voice chimed happily as she urged on the tall male behind her with a smile, her delicate hand holding onto a waffle cone with rather large soft-serve ice cream sitting upon it and she waved the raven haired behind her to catch up. A smile was tugging her lips as she grinned happily, her free hand waving about for another to follow where she toddled along the quiet street, leading towards the abandoned pier where she remembered well the first time her beloved took her here. He told her that his mother had taken him here many times before, where she also recalled the sweet moment that she shouted her love for him into the vast ocean, and followed by him doing the same. Something so rare for him to do, but it brought the warmth inside her heart and spreading all over her body.
However, that wasn't the reason she was heading to the pier today.
The aqua phoenix turned around to make sure that the male was following, taking another bite out of her ice cream before she rushed ahead towards the pier that lead towards the open sea, despite the lack of sun, the vast ocean was still beautiful with the moon shining brightly upon the velvet sky and reflecting countless stars onto the wavering ocean. The girl toddled over and stepped over to the edge of the pier excitedly, feet planted on the ground before she took in a deep breath, lips then parted to release a soft, gentle melody.
A song... almost a calling and a summoning weaved through the night air, echoing in the silence and resounding beautifully over the open ocean, bouncing off the waves that clashed to the dock underneath. Soft melody continued on for a while longer, that soothing hint of her melody where the phoenix found peace in being able to release her voice in a song once more, something that actually she was made for. To sing and to heal. The wind stilled itself for a moment, allowing her voice to continued with the song that sounded much clearer in the silent night air.
The guardian of the sea had awakened.
The sound of moving water, something rested underneath the ocean responded to her calling, echoing the traveling and fast movement, her wings spread graciously and beautifully while the waves of ocean simply traveled through her body smoothly, her large form soared upwards to the surface, then finally...
The legendary creature emerged from the moving water in its magnificence, revealing a gigantic guardian of the sea with her full form, recognizing the precious melody that calmed her down the first time she had been awakened into different world than her own and was summoned obediently to the blue angel who called upon her with the same tune. Her wing spread wide before she glided over to the pier, and the aqua phoenix took a few steps back to allow her companion to settle herself upon the pier, where she looked up at the creature bowing her head towards her, a smile spread across her lips to be able to see her friend again.
"Glad to see you again, Lugia."
He entered the bar in a slump, sitting on one of the chairs without lifting his gaze to the bartender. "Sorry to bother but.. whiskey." He just needed something strong.
"Eh...?" The bartender's intention when he first saw the man was to apologize for his improper (and very humiliating) behavior the last time they met. Heck... he even remembers himself hitting on the other man and it's just... disturbing.
However, when he saw how dejected Ethan was, he decided to just keep it to himself first--there are other times for that thing.
"Zhang-chan, somethin' got you pegged, huh?" The blond turned away to prepare the requested drink. "What's the catch, ne. Y'know I could help."
