Seth can hear it in his sleep, her soft cries. After everything Seth was far from a deep sleeper, these nights the slightest of sounds had him on high alert. He wakes up to Kisa whimpering in her sleep, he figures it must be some sort of bad dream. He’s seen her vulnerable, but never like this. He gently shakes her, trying to snap her out of it. ❝Hey---wake up, c’mon,❞ his voice is soft, just barely above a whisper. ❝Kisa---❞ there’s a slight hope that the use of her real name will bring her back to reality.
