While I may not know you, I know the pain you are feeling. I have felt how suffocating it all is, I have bled like you might be right now, I have done things I'm not proud of just to cope with it.

I'm telling you this because please don't ever for one moment feel like you deserve this. You are not alone. You are not sinful. You are not wicked. You will get through this. You will make it past this.

You can trust me when I say that because I made it through.

Been checking on your blog off and on for years now – just wanted to get this off my chest.

I tried to help a programmed system escape, and I got in too deep. I didn't understand how dangerous it would have been for them to actually get out.

I feel like I failed. I didn't help the right way, and I wish I had known. They are still in the c*lt, and we are still friends. It's hard to try and be normal with them, knowing what they go through, but I accept that they're doing what they need to to be safe.

Thank you for listening, and thank you for continuing to educate others. Your work has an impact.

I want to assure you, you didn’t fail. Leaving is ultimately up to them and their system. It’s an extremely difficult decision to leave and go no contact.

Leaving the religion has been one of the hardest things I've done in life. I risked everything I had ever known on a whim that there was something better out there. I've found hardship and pain, but I've also found the most amazing things.

A wise man once said you can only see what you are already looking for. The world seems scary and dark, but that's if you arent looking for the light in people.

As a whole. Humanity could never stand up to the expectations that god sets, but individuals have the power to make small changes with smiles and kindness that has gone further to help me keep my life together than the big book ever did.

Everyone will experience leaving differently. Not everyone has the same burden to bear. But we are all in this together to help our friends with the troubles they will face trying to obtain freedom from religious problems.
