Benedict Cumberbatch, Feminist.
I'm sure we've all read Caitlin Moran's marvellous article on the Batch in the Times by now (11/05/13). If not, hop to it! I adore the fact that BC refuses to refer to his fanbase as 'Cumberbitches'.
(He refuses to call them “Cumberbitches” – mentioning, with aching courtesy, the “Cumberwomen” or “Cumbergirls” instead.
“It’s not even politeness. I won’t allow you to be my bitches. I think it sets feminism back so many notches. You are… Cumberpeople.”)
Which leads to the following question..........Why has no one started a Feminist Benedict Cumberbatch meme as of yet??
Dear fandom, get to it!!!

My Cumberfest.
With a long layover on my way back from Spring Break and free internet provided by the lovely Washington-Dulles Airport, I had a decision to make. How should I spend my time? Initially, my thoughts drift to Sherlock, and I begin the long process of determining which episode needed a rewatch the most. As the decision became more and more daunting, a new thought creeped into my consciousness: watch something un-Sherlock, but equally Cumberful. Now after a watch of: Wreckers, Marple: Murder is Easy, and Hawking, I have now ended the fest with a introductory listen of Cabin Pressure. I continue to be more and more and more in awe of Benedict's talent, and I don't have words to do it justice. A successful fest, and one I hope to repeat.
(I apologize for all of the Cumber-puns haha)
