Cupping just never gets old. There’s always something new to learn, a new surprise, something unexpected. From dry fragrance, to wet aromatic, to actually tasting the coffee, there is a series of clues that unfold over time. Sometimes I can guess ahead to the cup flavors. Sometimes the clues are misleading. Cupping is a bit like reading in that way, demanding attention to detail, and seeing how a story unfolds.
