Your muse meets my muse at a formal dance party. Send “Why, Hello there.“ to catch my muses attention.)) @curas-the-kingslayer
Her shoulders rolled forward at the intrusion to her thoughts, not wanting to deal with any more forced social interaction for the night but the call of her informal name caught her off guard. She peered over her shoulder at the voice, not quite sure what face to place it with even with it being familiar.
Once her gaze caught his she couldnt help but smile, “So you are alive, well as alive as you can be. Huh, rumor had another story. Good to see you. What horrible fate has brought you to this dump?”
Mira jumped a little as the bottle slammed on the counter. Drunk men werent an abnormality around her but usually they werent so... “Curas?” she paused, laughing as she saw the state he was in, “You could have used a cheap pickup line to ask instead. It might have been a little more effective.” With a shake of her head she pat his, “You are something else.”
Atlantis: The Lost Empire is such an underrated...
That is seriously probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite Disney movies. Mole is by far my favorite xD
Haven’t seen it in years now I’ll have to admit it’s probably going to become one of my favorites all the humor I missed when I was younger I was catching it all tonight
Curas lead the battalion of men over the hill in the dead of night. Twenty-five Death Knights in all. Every single knight was very aware of the mission and very aware that some would not see the end of this night. As they approached the keep, Curas brought the men to a halt.
“Dismount, release your Chargers. From here it’s on foot. Silent and swift as the death we are. We go in, we kill who we need to, and we kill those who stand between us and the target.”
Curas broke out into a brisk trot towards the nearest wall of the keep, the men followed behind him as silent as he was. Five of the men, Curas included, opened the satchels at their sides. Bones spilled out of them and no sooner had the bones hit the floor, they leaped back up again. Curas clasped his hands and spoke dark words quietly and swifter than one should be able to. The bones formed a ladder on the wall and the Knights began to scale the wall, Curas leading them.
“Who the-mrmph!!!!” No faster had Curas lept over top the wall, had he silenced the only guard there. His hand over his mouth, he twisted the blade in his back, silencing him for good. He put out the torch to his left, and the other Knights followed suite. He broke out into a sprint down the keep wall as fast as he could, the first four Knights off the ladder following him. The remaining twenty split off into predetermined groups of five, and headed different directions. Only his squad would be going after the target. The other squads were merely a distraction to keep the guardsmen busy. For now, stealth was no longer needed as he rushed through the stables, leaping over wooden fences, and kicking down the first door into the main building. With the torch out he knew he only had a matter of moments before the keep would be armed and after them. But he had counted on that. What would be the fun in not having to spill a little blood?
He could hear now guards clashing with his men. The sound of steel on flesh was audible even from the rapidly growing distance. The sound served to do nothing but further excite Curas, and drive him to move faster. Voices now became audible in the hallways as guards scrambled to get to their posts. Curas turned a sharp corner and drew his blade, the skull at the hilt flared to life, and the blade appeared as fast as he drew it. His first swing sliced straight through the steel breastplate of a guard, blood spraying from the wound as the guard crumpled to the ground in front of him. Without slowing momentum he spun through the swing. He gripped the blades hilt differently than the first swing, and when he spun through, the blade separated into two. The twin blades now revealed, howled through the air, catching the remaining two guardsmen in the throat. The guards hand reached for their necks, their weapons clattering to the ground. Before the bodies crumpled, Curas and his men were already passed them and around the corner. One of his men caught a blade to the side from a guard exiting a room in the corridor. No sooner had the Knight been impaled, the Knight in front of him spun his runeblade back around, decapitating the guardsmen were he stood.
The guard’s sword still hung in the side of the Knight he had crept out on. He took a few pained steps forward, making no audible indication of his pain. The other Knight grabbed his brethren and clasped his hand around his neck. He quickly murmured words into his ear, and pierced the wounded Knights chest with his blade. A sworn agreement between all Knights in this particular squad. There would be no wounded. No stragglers. No dead weight. The injured would be disposed of immediately. Better to go by the hands of a brother, than the hands of the enemy.
Curas and his two remaining Knights kept moving forwards, not even glancing backwards at the event that had just occurred behind them. He moved swiftly his twin blades once again howling as the slashed through the air and through the throats of the guardsmen standing at the door which his target lay behind. He kicked the door open and was greeted by a female scream. His eyes widened at the woman who the scream emanated from.
No. This couldn’t be. It was supposed to be a high commanding officer in the Valliance Expedition. This was horribly wrong. Could their information have been wrong? No. It was impossible. Their informant was still in the building. He hadn’t dropped his cover yet for use in future missions. It was irrelevant now. He turned his attention back to the girl in the bed screaming her lungs out. He almost gasped as he took a better look at her. The striking silver blonde hair. The crystal blue eyes. The lithe and petite features. Suddenly this mistake was turned out to be a gain which not even The Queen could have foreseen. She fit the Queen’s description of a successor. Perfectly, at that.
“Shut your bloody mouth or I will silence you for the last time, whelp!” Curas bellowed at the girl and she silenced her screams upon command. “You have very short time to decide. Do you want to live or do you want to die?”
“Curas what are you doing? This is not the plan!” one of the Knights questioned him as the third Knight finally caught up to them after dealing with their fallen comrade.
“You shut your mouth. You don’t get paid to question the one in charge. This is way above your pay grade and you will not interfere. Am I understood? You will guard the door until I am finished here, or your reanimated corpse will do it. Am I understood?”
The Knight nodded and the other two to the door, stepped out, drew their weapons, and closed the door behind them.
Curas turned back towards the girl, who’s tears had stopped rolling, and the her breathing became steady. She spoke through a shaky voice. “What do you want from me, monster?”
Curas chuckled to himself at her attempt at an insult. “Child I offer you life. My mission was not to kill you. But we have been looking for someone who has your...physique, if you will. I offer you a spot nobody else on this earth would be able to obtain. A direct spot under the Lich Queen herself. You would be groomed to be her prodigy and a potential successor.”
The girl looked at the Death Knight wide eyed, most likely wondering why her, and petrified by the fear of what her refusal would mean.
“I do regret to inform you however, that if you decline, it would mean your life. Child, this is not just a chance at a new life. This would be a direct insertion into nobility. Can you truly pass that up?” He pulled a crystal vial out from under his breastplate that hung around his neck from a chain. “Drink this. It’s all you need to do. I cannot transform you on my own. You need to drink this first.”
He flipped the vial towards the girl. She caught it clumsily with shaking hands, then unscrewed the top of the vial and stared at the liquid within for a brief moment. “Time is of the essence child, we must be swift.” She looked up at him, and then looked down at the vial. She slowly brought the vial to her lips.
“Wait. There is one more thing I need first. I need your name.”
The girl looked at Curas and spoke softly. “Lyana”
Curas smiled at the name a bit. “Princess Lyana. Sounds quite fitting”
The girl brought the vial to her lips and took a deep breath. She tipped the vial, and the red liquid poured into her mouth. No sooner had the the liquid hit her throat, did the girls body went limp, and she lay unconscious. Curas took his blade, and as carefully as he could, struck the girl in the chest, the blade piercing her just enough to reach her heart. She gasped as the blade impaled her, her last breath of life easing out of her, her eyes remaining shut. Blood began to seep from her heart wound as he pulled the blade out, soaking her white dress in a red stain. Curas placed his blade back on his waist, the blade vanishing, leaving only the hilt visible to the naked eye.
He removed the glove on one hand, and a green aura began to form around it. He muttered more dark words quickly and placed his hand upon Lyana’s wound. The would immediately began to shut itself. The wound had long closed but the conversion had just begun. He kept his hand there until a faint blue light was visible from underneath her eyelids.
“Did you just convert her?” The Knight who questioned him before had reentered the room, covered in blood, but no wound upon him. “What was in that vial you just had her drink, Curas?”
Curas frowned a the voice of his Knight behind him. “I could have sworn I said to stand guard, Balthiel. The vial was the blood of your Queen. This is you new princess, get used to having her around. She is now of noble bloodline. Arthana’s blood courses through her veins. Now we must wait to see if she is strong enough to survive this conversion.”
Curas picked Lyana up and slung her over his shoulder. “We must be swift. I’m leaving the rest here to you, Balthiel. I will be using a Death Gate to get our new princess her to the Citadel for recovery. You’re my second in Command. Get the remaining men that survive out of here, and report back to the Citadel once they are off your trail. Do not lead them back to the gates, or it will be your undoing. Am I clear?”
The elf nodded and raised a fist to his chest. A human salute, but a salute to his superior nonetheless. Balthiel turned to leave the room, and no sooner had the door shut, had Curas resurrected a Death Gate to evacuate himself and his princess to safer ground.
It feels just like any other moba. Your gonna know the end result within the first 5 minutes 9/10 times
So far it’s been exactly that, I just hate that I can’t leave because I get this huge ol’ warning and I need the XP. I’ll just have to endure and wait for it to all be over.
The small rowboat had finally reached the shore of one of the many deserted beaches of the Borean Tundra. A cloaked figure stepped off the boat, his plated boot crunching against the beach’s sand.
The winds of the tundra whipped at the man’s features, blowing the cloak enough to reveal the suit of plated armor he wore beneath. The armor was black as night, adorned with dents and stains from countless battles. The skull of a lich acted as a belt buckle, with eye sockets long since empty. As he began to step away from the boat, the hilt of a sword became visible. A skull almost identical to that of the one on his belt, served as the blades hilt. The man stopped at the edge of the beach where he had landed, and removed the hood of his cloak to survey his surroundings. his black hair was immediately caught in the passing winds, his tightly knotted ponytail, keeping the hair out of his face.
The man smiled a bit, and his eyes flared a sickly blue color. A color known very well by the denizens of the land he now walked. In almost immediate response to the Death Knight’s aura, the dead eyes of the skulls of belt buckle and sword hilt alike, roared to life with the same blue color. The man rested his hand upon the hilt of the blade, the aura of his eyes and the dead eyes of his armor alike, grew calm to the touch.
“That’s right old friend, we’re finally home. And I believe we have quite some work to do in order to show the patrons who call this land home, why those who came before them, dare not cross the path of the Kingslayer”
A small chuckle quickly became an audible laugh, and a wicked grin spread quickly across his face. The Death Knight restored his cloaks hood to his head and began to march into the land he once called home. A land he was hell bent on reclaiming his stake in, in order to expand his now growing dominion over Azeroth
~So the purpose of this meme is to give a little info on your muses without having to rely on others to fill your ask with meme questions. I know how disappointing it can be to come back to an empty ask so I wanted to create a meme that anyone and everyone can do (mun and muse). The rules are simple, you do not need to be tagged to fill out the questions, but once you have you must reblog and tag 10 of your followers to spread the love (as well as add a question of your own to the bonus section). You can fill it out as many times as your heart desires (we all know muses can change with their character development.)~
