You’re valid! You seem really nice, so I hope people look up to you! (I’m sure they do though!) Anyways, I’ll do this for you~!

Proceeds will benefit the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle Agriculture Education Program.
Instead of spending $50 on a night out, grab three friends and register a team for CurEat’s Raleigh Scavenger Hunt, an interactive foodie experience and Inter-Faith Food Shuttle fundraiser organized by restaurant discovery app CurEat.
On March 30, you’ll fuel up with treats from Boulted Bread and Slingshot Coffee Co., then hunt for clues and solve riddles at each stop while sampling bites and sips from some of Raleigh's top food and beverage talent (rumor has it that some of them will make surprise cameos, too). The team that solves all the riddles first wins a three-day, two-night trip to Nashville with a stay at 21c Museum Hotel. Prizes will also be awarded to second- and third-place finishers as well as the highest fundraiser (plus, the more money you raise, the more hints you get throughout the event). The day will culminate with an after-party at Transfer Co. Food Hall, featuring barbecue from legendary pitmaster Sam Jones, fixings from Longleaf Swine BBQ, drinks at Transfer Co. Food Hall's Bar, plus a cocktail from Copper & Kings and a cider tasting from Stem Cider.
Registration for the hunt is $50 per person and goes toward your team’s fundraising goal of $1,000 and includes a ticket to the after-party. Just want to hit up the after-party? Tickets are $65 in advance, $75 at the door. Proceeds from both the scavenger hunt and after-party will benefit the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle Agriculture Education Program, whose mission is to teach sustainable food production and nutritious meal preparation, promote the establishment of gardens to increase healthy food access (they currently maintain two urban gardens: a demonstration garden on Geer Street in Durham and a community garden on Camden Street in Raleigh), and develop sustainable community food system models.
Registration ends on Friday, March 1. Teams that are fully registered by Friday, February 15, will unlock an extra clue during the scavenger hunt. Can’t make it? You can still donate to teams or make an individual donation to help CurEat meet its $50,000 fundraising goal.

“Raleigh entrepreneur Steve Mangano doesn’t want to say it but he’s created the anti-Yelp restaurant app… What sets it apart from other mainstream restaurant apps is it only features positive endorsements of independent restaurants and bars; so no negative reviews, no chains are included.”

It’s an age-old question; where are we going to eat tonight? This quest becomes even more imperative when one is traveling, wanting to ensure each meal is a memorable experience. Usually we ask a friend for their recommendations. But what if you could see your friends’ recommendations, check out chef’s favorite restaurants and map everything out while accessing information on different restaurants all at the same time? Thanks to local entrepreneur Steve Mangano’s new restaurant app, CurEat, now you can.
CurEat – the innovative new national restaurant app designed to help residents and travelers discover a great place to dine and drink – became available in the iTunes App Store in January 2017 provides trustworthy, curated lists of award-winning, independent and time-honored restaurants in over 60 cities across the United States, and empowers users to create and share their own lists.
With the creation of CurEat, the nation’s newest restaurant app, triangle local, Steve Mangano fuses his love for culinary with his entrepreneurial spirit. Mangano, who received a degree in hospitality management from Florida International University and an MBA from University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, has a hospitality background with Hilton Hotels in Miami, NYC and the greater New York area. He is most recently responsible for urban revitalization projects in Durham, including partnering to bring the award winning boutique hotel, 21c Museum Hotel to Durham, NC as well as Pullen Park Café in Pullen Park, Raleigh.
Download the app at https://cureatapp.com/ and follow along with as we CurEat our way through the triangle!
