i finished silent hill 3 (just one playthrough) and i really liked it its just so sad i cannot stand the way the camera works and the boss fights for that game. i think they were cooking w the way its built but the way the game runs (at least in an emulator) its so horrible to me...

adding onto this and i think claudia is def an interesting character to think about... obv correct me if theres stuff i missed wrt claudia and her motivations (besides yk, being indoctrinated and raised within a cult) but to me its very interesting to think about her as somebody who, alongside her beliefs aligning with the cult and the rebirth of their God, perhaps feels immense conflict and guilt associated with her abuse compared to the sufferings of others. like im for sure projecting with most of this but she is incredibly compelling when seen as a girl who has been abused all her life but feels so deeply for the suffering of other people, combined with The Orders goals, motivates her more to be persistent into bringing the eternal paradise, so nobody else has to suffer and maybe she wont suffer anymore or she can actually reconcile with her abuse and view it as bad as it was.

also leviticus is def an interesting movie. i do think its silly seeing some people talk about it and pondering on certain takeaways from parts of it. lol

#ed mention #i gen saw a while ago from someone recovering from ed saying that commenting on like. ariana grandes body does more harm to those struggle #ed than good and like. idk i do think it is one of those things where there is going to be a rough period even on the way toward recovery #where discussions of bodies will be triggering and that is obviously upsetting and difficult to deal with but people who see something wron #should still have the ability to say that it is wrong and abnormal bc eds are unhealthy!! and not everyone who will point out eds or signs #that look like eds are intending to explicitly shame them. they just want them to get help 😭
