who hogs the duvet: More than likely amethyst.
who texts/rings to check how their day is going: Peri definitely but amethyst is more than likely to just say, “good” and send emoji’s instead of carrying conversation. I can’t see her being the techy one in the ship.
who’s the most creative when it comes to gifts: They are both pretty good at giving gifts but Amethyst has Peri beat in this one. Yeah Peridot loves the idea of gifts she is still getting used to the idea, each gift that Amethyst gives her is just as different and unique as she is while giving Peri advice along the way.
who gets up first in the morning: Peridot hands down. Since gems don’t need to sleep, and Steven had only recently introduced her to the idea, she’d probably be up bright and early because she’s not used to it yet.
who suggests new things in bed: Ehehehehe, Peridot by accident. She surfs the web on her tablet and stumbled onto the bad part of tumblr, poor Peri. It’ll probably go like; “Amethyst what is this these humans are doing?” *shows her an image of the doggy style* “I dunno let’s go ask Pearl, she’ll probably know what it is.”
who cries at movies: Peridot, but it’s only during Ol’ Yeller because of the dog.
who gives unprompted massages: Amethyst when she sees Peri stressing over shit. Telling her in her own way to loosen up a bit.
who fusses over the other when they’re sick: I don’t think gems can get sick, if they can then roast me, but for the sake of this prompt, Peridot. She doesn’t understand why Amethyst is not “functioning correctly” and doesn’t know how to fix her.
who gets jealous easiest: Amethyst, nail on the head.
who has the most embarrassing taste in music: Peridot. She probably found some old yodeling music or something and is now claiming it as her aesthetic. Still better than Tiny Tim though, she has Frolic Through The Tulips on replay.
who collects something unusual: We all know that’s probably Amethyst.
who takes the longest to get ready: I don’t think either of them take very long, not really caring about their appearance, but Amethyst only because she has a lot of hair to brush through.
who is the most tidy and organised: Peridot, though not by much. Her tablet is probably more organized than her barn space tbh.
who gets most excited about the holidays: Amethyst, Peridot probably hasn’t had time to get used to human customs. But she finds the lights pretty and Amethyst in ugly Christmas sweaters cute.
who is the big spoon/little spoon: Amethyst is the big spoon and she had to wrangle Peridot in for cuddles.
who gets most competitive when playing games and/or sports: They are both pretty bad but Peridot has Amethyst on this one. While Amethyst has the mind set of; “it’s just a game bruh,” Peri is more like; “I must win this round of Mario Cart in order to restore my honor. FOR LUIGI!!!”
who starts the most arguments: None, neither of them instigate. I say this because I hardly see them fishing for negative attention. The only arguments they would probably have would be over Amethyst being too rowdy and when Peri oversteps her humor by accident.
who suggests that they buy a pet: Funny story, I have a slight thingy that I thought of so I guess I’ll share it. Peridot once saw a Sphynx, a hairless cat breed, and asked Steven about it. He told her all about cats and even set her up on various sites so she could read up on cats of all breeds, of course she liked the hairless cats best. When she did her research she went to Amethyst with a full report and essay. Now they have a hairless, pet cat named Twinkles.
what couple traditions they have: They aren’t too sure on what to do as a couple so they try to find things to do that are special, going places they wouldn’t normally go, eating at different restaurants, things like that. But Amethyst likes to take Peri to the game shop to see what new games they could possibly look forward to.
what tv shows they watch together: Twin Peaks, though Amethyst doesn’t quite get it. They tried Crying Breakfast Friends but they still aren’t sure of the concept of the show.
what other couple they hang out with: Garnet can be concidered a couple right?
how they spend time together as a couple:Staying up late, eating pizza, watching Twin Peaks, and trying to slay at Mario Cart. After that they wind down while Peridot continues her journey to become the Dragonborn.
who made the first move: Hmm, hard to say really. I could see it being Peridot though. Asking Amethyst to partake in this human tradition of dating with her.
who brings flowers home: Amethyst brings them for Peridot to see the different wildlife Earth has to offer.
who is the best cook: Peridot sets the kitchen on fire and so does Amethyst, but not as bad. Even though Amethyst has some experience we’d best call Steven or order pizza.
