I actually have something to share this week after not writing for a few weeks because of the Holidays and work stuff.

I started writing down Summer's backstory, but this is something that might or might not have happened. An AU if you so will.

It's definitely a lot of fun writing it and since it's a one shot I'm hoping to post it soonish.

OC Creation ask game: #14 for Calliope please?

If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?

1. My girl is anxious. She's spent the best part of her life alone where her only friend is an equally neurotic undead (Audric). She will put on a good front but her mind will always be racing through the possibilities of whatever she's doing (ie she yelled at a dragon to get its attention and spent the entire time panicking it was going to eat her)

2. She is a little bit of a social disaster. She was very sheltered within the Necropolis growing up and she bounced between many an eccentric Watchers guardianship until she was deemed old enough to survive on her own. She only really learns throughout the events of Veilguard what family and friends really means and really expands her world view. A lot of her knowledge and navigating the world has come purely from fiction and non-fiction books so she has to try to put some of that into practice (like her awkward attempts at flirting with Emmrich)

this is years old, is a random sketch that took me an hour and has never seen the light of day but yknow what its my oc and i STILL look at it weirdly with a lot of warmth in my heart so have it!

this is the first mtg token i got to draw for my friends proxy deck and everybody in our playgroup was really nice to me about it and i was asked for more so yay to my beloved 1/1 hippo!

this was a gift for @fassina of their Dark Urge Manva and I’m still trying to chase that high. I wish i would paint like that more often tbh!!

Last: all I’ve been drawing these past few months has been semi doomed yuri and i still like this one a lot!

i would show you my durgetash murder orgy wip but tumblr won’t let me (i’ve tried) SO

im going to be real and say that anything that qualified as a wip beforehand has spiritually moved to the abandoned pile on account of me not drawing much the past two months or so because i was/am in exam prep. BUT if we are being nice, then this thing from a year ago (rip) is something i really like and would like to finish still, even if it needs a bigger redraw in the end.

honestly i just like the moodiness and the visual line from grimacing (inner) monster to dark urge to murdered look-alike (repressed self-hatred). I think it’s neat and i should’ve finished it when i was drawing it rip.

whats something youre proud of about your artstyle?

i think i found a texture to my art that i like and can be consistent in!

What does your OC drive?

Asha:

Asha wold probably drive some kind of off road dirt bike, something mobile, capable to go cross country. It's also nice if someone's riding behind her and has to hold on to her - if you catch my drift.

Summer:

Summer would preer to be on horseback if possible, but since is about driving... She'd probably have Jeep. Something sturdy and reliable, to traverse difficult terrain. It has to be big enough for her to sleep in the backseat if the need arises.

Summer:

This is actually pretty accurate, besides the zero aggression thing - she is a Grey Warden after all. Does she like violence? Not really, but she'll do what needs to be done. And yes, she does enjoy her own company, but she'd rather be with a friend or friends/people she trusts than on her own. The rest is pretty spot on actually. She's an overthinker, needs planning and input from 'her people'

Asha:

This is also pretty accurate (and like the polar opposite from Summer), Asha is getting better at making plans - and sticking with them. She also will listen to everything her friends need to unload - no such thing as TMI.
